Book Synopsis
Kouya Toyo was the Ability Dog number 1999, the first test subject capable of destroying the Mechanical Hound during trials. Shen Zhao Yi forcibly recruited Kouya Toyo to replace the deceased Alpha for training.
Shen Zhao Yi's voice was icy. "Let's play a game."
She pointed to a massive arena not far away. "Kouya Toyo, if you can defeat my new creation there, I will let you all go."
Kouya Toyo clenched his teeth. "What if I lose?"
A glimmer of cruelty flashed in Shen Zhao Yi's eyes. "Then your sister will become the next test subject."
Kouya Toyo felt a wave of dizziness wash over him. He looked at his sister, whose battered face was etched with fear and despair.
"Fine," Kouya Toyo took a deep breath. "I accept."
Shen Zhao Yi nodded in satisfaction. "Very well, then let us begin."
