Book Synopsis
From the perspective of a female protagonist who was misdiagnosed with cancer, the story unfolds as she navigates her thoughts on life and death, family, and love, while cleverly handling the internal power struggles and disputes over inheritance within her family.
After being mistakenly believed to have cancer, the hospital mixed up my examination report with my mother-in-law's.
The whole family thought I had cancer.
My husband excitedly sent a message to his mistress late at night: "Just wait a bit longer, she's about to kick the bucket."
My mother-in-law came to see me, wiping her tears as she said, "Daughter-in-law, this illness is like a deep pit; let’s not treat it, okay?"
All I could do was respond through my tears, "Alright, Mom. No matter who has this illness, we won't treat it!"
