Book Synopsis

In the distant north, there is an island called Hai Bei Island. It was once the site of a fierce battle between The Ancient Ancestor Corpse Monster and Xuantian Emperor.
 
In order to seal the great demon, Xuantian Emperor exhausted all his true energy. After the Necromancer self-destructed, Xuantian Emperor's last bit of power created a protective barrier and planted a towering tree with purifying abilities in the nearby country - The world of owls.
 
The green mist from the Necromancer's explosion spread, turning humans and all creatures into monsters, with trees withering and wild beasts running amok.
 
The people were terrified in this atmosphere of horror. A woman who accidentally touched the mist quickly mutated into a Necromancer, attacking and killing her husband.
