Book Synopsis
The story takes place three years after Inuyasha and his companions teamed up to defeat Naraku. Kagome, at her high school graduation ceremony, decides to return to the Sengoku period to reunite with Inuyasha, bidding farewell to modern life and her family. As time passes, a year later, her younger brother Souta and his new friends Bosaku Sei and Xiazhimaru meet. Bosaku Sei is deeply interested in the ancient scriptures passed down in the family and the ancient well in the House of Souta. Driven by curiosity, the three of them are unexpectedly attacked by a Centipede demon, and Souta and Xiazhimaru are accidentally thrown into the well. Bosaku Sei jumps into the well and astonishingly discovers that they have traveled to the Sengoku period. However, to their horror, the Centipede demon has been revived. At a critical moment, Kagome, Inuyasha, and others appear just in time to save them.
