Book Synopsis
On a Parisian afternoon, sunlight bathed the streets, and the air was filled with the aroma of coffee. The lively circus performance attracted numerous tourists, their cheers rising and falling like waves.
She was supposed to be just another spectator in this bustling crowd, yet at that moment, she stood at the center of the stage, transformed into a prop for "The Great Transformation of Living Beings."
Instead of fear, a strange smile crept across her face, sending chills down the spines of the audience below.
As the magician recited the incantation, she slowly vanished from the stage, completing this breathtaking act—she had successfully "escaped."
"At last, I'm free..." she whispered softly, but no one heard her. Only the lingering scent of roses on stage silently revealed the truth behind this "escape": she was not an ordinary tourist; she was an undercover agent planted by "Dream of the Phantom Night" within the police force. Today's "escape" was part of her plan.
The shrill ring of the police station's phone pierced through the air. She answered it indifferently, her voice cold as ice. "Stop looking for her; she's already dead."
