Da Shan He raised the blood-soaked stick high, like a raging war god, his eyes burning with chilling murderous intent. With all his might, he roared at Edric, "I will make you wish you were dead!" His words were filled with uncontrollable anger and hatred, like an enraged beast wanting to tear his enemy to pieces. 0

Then he viciously threw the stick aside, roaring as he staggered towards Edric. Despite the wounds covering his body and blood flowing incessantly, his rage seemed to make him ignore all pain. Only by tearing apart his enemy could he quell the resentment and fury in his heart. 0

Edric felt his head pounding, but he knew clearly that his only choice in the face of the almost irrational monster in front of him was to escape. He couldn't fall here, he couldn't let the glory of the House of Heraldry be extinguished. 0

Edric exerted all his strength and ran into the forest outside the tavern. The continuous drizzle and muddy ground made his run difficult, but he gritted his teeth and moved forward step by step. Each step seemed to remind him that this was a race with the Grim Reaper. His only thought was to escape the pursuit of the Da Shan and find a chance to survive. 0

Behind him, the roar of the Da Shan continued to echo, each roar sending shivers down Edric's spine. It seemed as though the enraged creature had completely lost its sanity. The Da Shan's roars and heavy footsteps reverberated through the silent night, causing the entire forest to tremble. He seemed to feel no pain, only determined to catch up to Edric and tear him apart. 0

Edric felt a fear like never before, but he knew that only by continuing to run did he have a chance at survival. He dared not look back, only able to move forward, forward. He felt his heart pounding fiercely, every breath causing him agony. He gritted his teeth and desperately ran deeper into the forest, hoping to find a chance to hide, hoping for a miracle. In that moment, Edric felt the weight of survival and the oppression of despair. 0

In the deep of the night in the forest, two people are running unsteadily, as if they have become part of a silent chase. The forest is so quiet that only their rapid breathing and the uncertain sound of their footsteps can be heard. One person is desperately running ahead, while the other is closely pursuing from behind, creating a surreal and tense atmosphere. 0

Edric's stamina is nearly depleted, and every breath brings him excruciating pain, but he knows that if he stops, the creature behind him will mercilessly tear him apart. So he pushes forward desperately, even though each step feels like a little bit of his life slipping away. 0

Da Shan also felt pain and fatigue, but his anger and hatred seemed to make him forget all the pain at this moment. He had only one goal, to catch up with the nobleman in front of him and completely eliminate him. But his speed gradually slowed down, apparently the fatal injury was slowly eroding his strength. 0

In the running and panting time after time, Edric couldn't help but have doubts in his heart. He didn't understand why someone like Da Shan would be on this remote planet instead of being recruited by clan and transformed into a Space Marines. His physique and endurance were obviously far beyond ordinary people, and if he accepted the transformation of clan, he would definitely become a powerful warrior. 0

"Why hasn't someone like this been recruited and transformed into a Space Marines character by clan?" murmured Edric, his inner doubts shrouding him in confusion like the fog of night. But he knew that now was not the time to unravel these questions; he had to find a way to escape Da Shan and survive. 0

As the night deepened, the pursuit in the forest seemed to become increasingly vague and uncertain. In the continuous drizzle of the night, the two of them ran into the depths of the forest, one chasing and the other fleeing. The tall and dense trees in the forest formed a pitch-black canopy, shielding the moonlight and starlight outside. Only occasional flashes of lightning illuminated their figures and the faint glow that appeared and disappeared between the trees. 0

Edric's chest pain felt like it was about to burst, and every breath made him feel a tearing pain. While Da Shan was seriously injured, he seemed to feel no pain at all, still closely chasing after him. Their breathing and footsteps echoed in the forest, intertwining with the night's insect sounds to form a desolate symphony. 0

In despair and fear, Edric finally ran into a darker and denser grove. In his panic, he crouched down on the damp ground, feeling around desperately, hoping to find any items for self-defense. His hands moved quickly in the darkness, and every moment of delay could mean danger to his life. 0

Soon, his fingers touched a fist-sized stone. He held it tightly, feeling the coldness and texture of the stone. Slowly, he stood up and turned to face the still slowly approaching Da Shan. Although his vision was blurry, he could feel the gaze of the Da Shan, a gaze filled with hatred and rage. 0

In the darkness, Edric and the Da Shan locked eyes. Their eyes reflected a faint light, as if their life force and will were interweaving and colliding in the night. Edric's breathing became more rapid; he knew this could be the most critical moment of his life. He had to persevere; he couldn't fall here. His hand holding the stone trembled slightly, ready at any moment. 0
