I had just stepped out of the high-level conference room when my phone vibrated. I glanced at the caller ID; it was Assistant Li Ruobing. "Lin Zhiyuan and Song Ya have fallen in love while in Africa." 0

Li Ruobing's voice on the other end remained calm, yet there was a hint of sarcasm. I paused, my brow furrowing slightly, but my tone was as steady as ever. "Explain." "The photos have already been sent to your email." 0

Li Ruobing's voice was low and restrained as usual. "If you want to know the details, I can tell you directly. They are openly displaying their affection at Volunteer Camp; it's no longer a secret." 0

I hung up and strode into my office. As I opened my computer, I took a deep breath. Though I rarely lost my temper, a chill crept into my heart at that moment. 0

The photos in the email jumped out at me: Lin Zhiyuan stood in a sunlit meadow, holding a bouquet of wildflowers, bending down to hand them to Song Ya. Song Ya smiled brightly, clearly touched by this "romantic gesture." The background was a pristine grassland, with soft light creating an idyllic scene straight out of a magazine cover promoting "pure love." 0

A caption beneath the photo read: "Only love without constraints is truly pure." I stared at the picture for a few seconds before letting out a manager Leng laugh. "Searching for Finding The Real Self?" I muttered to myself, dripping with disdain. "This is clearly a honeymoon." 0

Before long, Li Ruobing pushed the door open and placed another printed report on my desk. He glanced at my expression and guessed that I had seen the photos. He spoke directly: "People at the camp are spreading rumors that they are a couple. There are also whispers suggesting that Song Ya and Lin Zhiyuan are getting too close, crossing some boundaries." 0

"Crossing boundaries?" I raised an eyebrow, a hint of frost in my smile. "What do you mean by crossing boundaries?" Li Ruobing continued his report while calmly observing my reaction: "Song Ya has applied for an internal management position within the project. Officially, she is helping with logistics, but her actual authority is significantly higher than that of ordinary volunteers." 0

"Lin Zhiyuan is her main supporter; he even publicly nominated Song Ya at the volunteer meeting, claiming she is 'capable and trustworthy.'" 0

"Nominated?" I scoffed, my gaze icy. "He really knows how to use my resources to pave the way for others." 0

"There's one more thing," Li Ruobing paused before continuing. "Song Ya has leveraged connections from several International Foundations to submit her personal career development plan, stating her goal is to become a Professional Manager in the Public Welfare Sector. People from these foundations have a good impression of her; some mentioned that 'she has great potential and is more promising than her leader.'" 0

When I heard this, I tapped my fingers on the desk and then stood up. 0

"She wants to use this project not just to climb higher but to step on Lin Zhiyuan to rise." My tone was oddly calm, as if stating a fact. "He thinks Song Ya genuinely likes him, but she's playing a much larger game." 0

Li Ruobing remained silent; he understood that I didn't need comfort but answers. He simply asked calmly, "What should we do next? Should we intervene directly?" 0

I glanced at him, a sharp glint in my eyes. "Intervene? It's too early for that; wouldn't it make them think they're important?" 0

I turned and walked to the floor-to-ceiling window, gazing down at the city lights. My voice was calm, as if discussing a business strategy. "Let them continue their performance, but I want to know every detail. Everything they do and every word they say will become the rope that pulls them down in the end." 0

A few days ago, in my office, I looked up at Lin Zhiyuan standing before me, secretly amused. This Little Canary I had carefully nurtured actually wanted to fly out of the cage? "I want to go to Africa as an International Volunteer," he said earnestly, his eyes shining with what he called idealism. 0

I slowly closed the contract in my hand, a manager Leng smile curling at the corners of my mouth. "Could you repeat that?" Lin Zhiyuan seemed oblivious to the danger in my tone and repeated, "I want to go to Africa to be a volunteer. The conditions are tough, but I believe one cannot live their whole life in a Comfort Zone. I want to find Finding The Real Self." 0

I set down my pen and studied him with interest, as if observing a pet dog that suddenly wanted to escape. "Finding The Real Self?" I leaned back in my chair, my tone calm as if assessing a risk report. "Zhiyuan, I certainly agree that one should break through their limits. 0

But are you sure you're ready? You haven't even stood firm in the Comfort Zone I've provided you, and you want to run out?" Lin Zhiyuan frowned, clearly dissatisfied with my response. "I know you don't understand me, but I've made up my mind. Staying here in your 'Comfort Zone' every day feels suffocating." 0

"Suffocating?" I raised an eyebrow, my voice still as calm as water. "Are you sure what suffocates you is the 'Comfort Zone' and not me, the one who provides it?" My words struck a nerve. Lin Zhiyuan's expression changed repeatedly, but he stubbornly repeated, "This is my life decision; don't stop me." 0

"Alright then, I won't stop you." I stood up and walked in front of him, leaning slightly forward to meet his gaze, a manager Leng smile on my lips. "But don't forget that you can't leave this circle because without me, you can't even afford a plane ticket." This statement pierced sharply into Lin Zhiyuan's pride. He pressed his lips together and fell silent. 0

After a moment, I returned to my seat and picked up my pen again, resuming my usual calm demeanor. "Since you want to go so badly, I can provide you with optimal resources." I wrote down a few phone numbers and handed them to him. "But remember, what you call reality is merely what I'm willing to let you see." 0
