The newcomers were the trio who had previously entered the whirlpool by boat, making their way slowly toward the scene. 0

Rod, the priest with a red ponytail, saw the fallen bodies lying in a pool of Blood Spirit Fruit. He opened a heavy tome and began to chant an ancient and obscure incantation. As he spoke, strands of light floated up from the corpses, pulling them upward until they dissipated into the air like smoke. 0

Sebella, with her loli-like features, cradled a dirty doll in her arms and yawned, seemingly uninterested in Rod's ritual to guide the souls to rest. 0

Standing behind them was Treyzer, tall and statuesque, his expression blank as he carried a large bundle wrapped in black leather, its contents unknown. 0

"You lay our sins before you, exposing our hidden evils to your light. They rush away like water, they sleep as if in slumber, they grow like grass, returning to dust, returning to your dwelling." 0

Once Rod finished his chant and closed the book, the glowing strands from the corpses faded into the thin mist surrounding them. 0

Sebella noticed that Rod's tome, which had lost a third of its pages upon entering the whirlpool, seemed to have regained some of its integrity. She raised an eyebrow but said nothing. 0

"Let’s go," Rod said as he surveyed the bloody scene before leading Treyzer and Sebella into the mist, vanishing from sight. 0

Not long after their departure, another group of four emerged from the thin fog. Clad entirely in Black Armor and exuding an air of menace, they moved in perfect unison. Two of them were robust figures resembling Iron Towers in their armor, while the other two were slightly more slender. The leader was tall and lean but wore distinctive armor that appeared fierce and menacing, reminiscent of a knight from hell. His helmet obscured his face, resembling a lifeless Dark Knight; the only vibrant detail was the red cloak billowing behind him. 0

The massive black sword he dragged along looked intimidating—about half his size. The four knights paused briefly in the blood-soaked field before entering the wilds of Blood Spirit Fruit. Just then, a raucous commotion erupted at the entrance as a group of over ten people rushed in. They appeared disorganized, forming small clusters of three or five but instinctively banding together as one. 0

"Look! Blood Spirit Fruit!" someone shouted excitedly. However, they quickly spotted the four armored Tall Knights staring back at them. Some reached for their Energy Guns at their waists. 0

"Take them out!" came a low voice from within the crowd. The four knights acted as if they hadn’t heard or seen this group of eager Fusers eyeing them hungrily. 0

The knight draped in a striking red cloak was the first to drag his enormous sword into the thicket of Blood Spirit Fruit plants, followed slowly by his three companions. 0

"Damn it! They're harvesting Blood Spirit Fruit right in front of us." 0

"How arrogant!" 0

"Charge!" 0

A dozen people drew their Zhan Daos or pulled out Energy Guns, launching an attack on the four knights who had their backs turned to them. 0

Bang! Bang! Bang! 0

Energy Bullets struck the knights' armor, creating sparks that flew off, leaving many stunned as they looked down at their Energy Pistols. 0

"Who has Armor-Piercing Rounds?" someone shouted. 0

Many of those who came to seek treasure were well-equipped with ammunition. Whether it was Armor-Piercing Rounds or special bullets like Plasma Bullets, they had plenty on hand. This shout snapped them out of their daze, and they quickly began loading their Energy Guns with Armor-Piercing Rounds. 0

Bang! Bang! Bang! 0

The bullets fired again, hitting the knights' armor. To everyone's surprise, the armor seemed to be made of some unknown material that deflected the Armor-Piercing Rounds, which could penetrate most Tactical Vests and combat Armors! 0

The Fusers were astonished; since the bullets couldn't harm them, they all drew their Zhan Daos and leaped forward. 0

"Hey, armored rats! If you have any guts, don't run away like cowards!" someone jeered while brandishing a Zhan Dao. 0

The knight leading the charge, dragging a broad sword behind him, stopped. A rough voice came from within the armor, "You go ahead." 0

The other three knights did not hesitate and left this leader behind as he waited for the throng of Empowered Individuals to close in around him. 0

Once surrounded by the Fusers, they took advantage of their numbers and began eyeing his equipment. 0

"Tsk tsk, this armor looks pretty good; it can't even be pierced by Armor-Piercing Rounds!" 0

"This sword seems pretty good; it must weigh over a hundred kilograms!" 0

"Haha, look at that armor! It really makes him look like a coward. I wonder if he’s so scared he wet himself! Hahaha." 0

The Black Knight seemed unwilling to waste words with these people. With his gloved hands, he suddenly lifted the heavy sword that was dragging on the ground, swish! 0

Like lightning, the sword swept through the air. The crowd barely registered a flash of light before half of them began to tilt and fall to the ground, their eyes wide in shock, unable to comprehend what had just happened. A few others, still processing the scene, were horrified to see half of their companions cut in two. 0

"Damn!" 0

Two or three of them quickly reacted, drawing their Zhan Dao or twisting off the Safety Ring from their Hand Grenades. 0

But that two-hundred-pound sword swept through their hands as lightly as a feather. Slash, slash, slash—countless limbs fell to the ground. One large man who had just removed the Safety Ring from his Energy Grenade watched helplessly as his hand was severed by the giant sword, blood gushing forth. The two Hand Grenades he hadn’t thrown yet fell at his feet as he raised his head in despair to look at the faceless helmet. 0

Boom! Boom! 0

The explosion engulfed these arrogant Fusers in a blinding light. Flames roared amidst the mist as the Black Armored Knight emerged from the fire, dragging his massive sword behind him, his Red Cloak billowing like blood in the scorching heat. 0

"Devil! Devil!" Those who were still alive scrambled to their feet and rushed outside, shouting in panic. 0

The knight in black armor set down his giant sword without even glancing at those fleeing. He turned and continued walking deeper into Bai Di Cheng. 0

Lu Fei Fan was unaware that four demon-like knights were behind him. At that moment, he was lost in the joy of his recent gains, following the old man’s group. Along the way, they had raided three teams, first collecting over thirty Blood Spirit Fruits and then encountering another group gathering Silver Feather Grass! 0

Silver Feather Grass could cure all poisons; a century-old plant could produce three doses of energy stimulant worth hundreds of thousands! 0

In this forest, they discovered over a dozen century-old Silver Feather Grass plants, with several exceeding two hundred years old. Naturally, Lu Fei Fan's team clashed with those gathering them. Using a blunt-force approach, Lu Fei Fan took down three Fellows and found three century-old Silver Feather Grass plants on them. He felt like a newly rich man carrying millions. 0

However, when the old man called for everyone to gather, Lu Fei Fan noticed that several people were missing from their team. He couldn't tell if they had been taken out by the enemy or eliminated by their own comrades. 0

The old man did not say much and continued to lead the group forward. 0

Their destination was not the grove at the foot of the mountain, which was known for its Silver Feather Grass. If it weren't for the fear of raising suspicion, Lu Fei Fan would have considered digging for grass right there, as he might even discover Silver Feather Grass that was over two hundred years old. The thought that this Silver Feather Grass would eventually be found by others made Lu Fei Fan feel a pang of regret. 0

Fortunately, during their ascent, they encountered another group and engaged in a battle over the Wu Xing Mine! 0

The Wu Xing Mine was a primary material used to produce top-tier Tactical Armor and vests, capable of withstanding Armor-Piercing Rounds and even the force of kinetic bullets. The military had recently developed the latest Tactical Vest using this type of ore, but it was so rare that a single pound of Wu Xing Mine could be sold for hundreds of thousands at market price. 0

At the foot of the mountain, it was Lu Fei Fan and his companions who first discovered this ore, before being followed by those who sought to rob them. 0

A large-scale battle broke out at the base of the mountain, and the sudden conflict naturally scattered Lu Fei Fan and his two companions from their team. 0

The three formed an impromptu squad, each carrying an extra backpack filled with loot taken from their defeated opponents. Lu Fei Fan's backpack contained no less than twenty pounds of Wu Xing Mine, while the other two had around ten pounds each. Together, they managed to take down a five-man team. 0

These two were none other than the Tall Masked Man and the Short Masked Man, who had previously exchanged information with Lu Fei Fan. To his surprise, Lu Fei Fan discovered that their fighting style was quite unconventional; they employed sneaky tactics such as wrapping Hand Grenades in leaves and throwing them into enemy camps. The opponents were caught off guard and three were killed instantly. 0

The trio formed a crafty team and began their ascent towards the mountain peak. Little did Lu Fei Fan expect that these two had mastered the art of underhanded tactics to an extraordinary degree, earning his admiration. Of course, Lu Fei Fan's own cunning was not inferior to theirs; they secretly admired his skills as well, feeling a sense of camaraderie over their shared expertise. 0

Using methods like ambushing with clubs, poisoning enemies, and setting traps, they eliminated several groups. From those unfortunate souls, they scavenged a few hundred-year-old Silver Feather Grass and some Blood Spirit Fruits, feeling as if they had hit the jackpot. 0

They set traps along the way or placed Hand Grenades with their Safety Rings removed on corpses, naturally catching many greedy individuals who attempted to loot bodies. 0

The tall man introduced himself as Lao Wu, while the shorter one called himself Lao Dao. 0

This was how they introduced themselves; Lu Fei Fan referred to himself as Lao Hua. 0

As they bantered along the way, they began to take their journey to the mountain peak more seriously. After all, if they continued brawling at the base, they would surely encounter more troublesome foes. It was better to move forward; perhaps they would stumble upon even greater treasures. 0

After experiencing several life-and-death battles together, a certain level of trust began to develop among the three. 0

“Lao Wu, I’ve heard that there are incredible Ancient treasures in Bai Di Cheng!” On the road, Lao Dao rarely shared his true information. 0

“Really?” Lao Dao was skeptical about what kind of Ancient treasures could be so remarkable. 0

Lu Fei Fan listened with great curiosity. 0

“Of course! Otherwise, do you think so many people are fighting tooth and nail to get in? Hmph, if we find it, our lives might change completely and we could reach the peak of our existence!” Lao Wu was filled with anticipation. 0

“Lao Hua, why are you here? Don’t tell me you were hired by that old man for a hundred thousand to join the team. I don’t believe it,” Lao Dao said, stroking his chin as he looked at Lu Fei Fan. 0

“Of course not,” Lu Fei Fan pondered how to respond. 0

“There’s something!” Lao Wu suddenly reminded them. 0

The three quickly crouched down in the grass, quietly parting the plants to observe the situation ahead. 0
