"Go ahead and shoot!" she suddenly stood beside Lu Fei Fan and said.
Lu Fei Fan was somewhat puzzled; shouldn't she be stopping him instead?

Just as Lu Fei Fan hesitated, a gunshot rang out faster than he could react, piercing through the Bodhi Spirit Tree's head, its emerald green liquid splattering everywhere.

With one last cry, its body collapsed to the ground, countless Sources of Life pouring into the water's surface, causing a great splash that rained down around them. The ground soaked with the Source of Life quickly sprouted tender green shoots, which rapidly grew into vibrant unknown plants of emerald green that spread swiftly.
In the distance, the gunman was part of a cavalry unit, standing next to Da Fu and Jiang Yu. They looked on indifferently as this colossal creature fell, marking the end of both the Source of Life and the Bodhi Tree Demon.
Faced with all this, Lu Fei Fan felt a twinge of compassion. He lowered his gun, overwhelmed by a mix of emotions.
"All living beings in this world can only have two outcomes: extinction or eternal existence. I don't particularly like the former, but achieving eternity must come at the cost of other species' extinction," Lu Fei Fan suddenly said.
Yun Kui wiped her tears and turned to look at Lu Fei Fan, pleadingly asking, "Can I ask you to do something for me?"
Lu Fei Fan looked at the girl and nodded slightly in agreement.
"Perhaps there will be no more Bodhi Spirit Trees in this world, but the Totem Trees can still continue. I know a place where there are Tree Spirits; with them, we can cultivate a new Totem Tree. But I need the seeds of the Totem Tree, which are located in the central region where there are swarms and terrifying creatures. With my abilities, I cannot go there; only someone as strong as you might have a chance," Yun Kui implored.
"What do I get out of this?" Lu Fei Fan asked her.
"There are extra seeds there; I only need one. You can take the rest; they can sell for a lot of money," Yun Kui replied.
Lu Fei Fan nodded thoughtfully, as if to agree.
"Thank you," Yun Kui said, turning away. That frail body seemed to bear the heavy responsibility of rebuilding the village, yet it needed to shoulder even more.
The death of the Bodhi Tree Demon also marked the end of the collaboration between the Fei Hu Battle Team and the Mad God Squad.
The madman, along with three team members and a few corpses—six or seven in total—could not bring them back. They could only burn the bodies to ashes and take back what could identify them: the soldier tags.
The madman was nowhere to be found. Li Tiezui merely inquired about Lu Fei Fan's whereabouts and did not pursue the matter further. The madman's abilities posed no safety concerns in this Rainforest; rather, they needed to be cautious on their way back.
Li Tiezui bid farewell to the horse team with several vials of Source of Life. The horse team also planned to leave this place. After today’s battle, more mercenaries would surely come upon hearing the news.
Even if there was nothing left here, those people would dig three feet into the ground to find something before they would give up; that was the nature of mercenaries.
The Fei Hu Battle Team had also obtained Source of Life, so they had to leave before others arrived. Otherwise, they would become targets; at that point, the effect of "innocent bystanders suffering for the guilty" would definitely trigger a chain reaction.

"The girl must have told him about it through some kind of sensing from the Totem Tree, which is why she asked him for help," Jiang Yu said as he tore off his sketch and handed it to Lu Fei Fan.
Lu Fei Fan nodded and put it away.
"That's not the key issue; the key is this terrain..." The horse team held a map, pointing at an empty area where few humans had ventured. If there were any, they certainly weren't people at their level.
“I’ve heard that someone has been to that place,” Da Fu Ge said.
“Are you talking about that legendary Azure Lotus Squad from back in the day…” Jiang Yu suddenly interjected with a hint of mischief.
“Legends are just legends. That Special Operations Team mysteriously vanished for some reason… who knows…” Ma Dui said, filled with concern.
“We have to give it a try,” Lu Fei Fan felt an inexplicable urge inside him, a voice insisting he must go and see; otherwise, he feared he would miss something important.
“Exactly,” Jiang Yu nodded. “A seed from the Totem Sacred Tree sold for a billion back then. The Free Federation’s lighthouses were desperate to acquire them, claiming they were the best materials for advancing the lighthouses. With these things, you wouldn’t have to worry about trading for good items.”
Ma Dui nodded, sighed, and patted his shoulder. “Stay safe. We’ll wait for you at the dock. If you come back and can’t find us, hurry back to the Free Federation. Remember, if you run into any danger, you can contact Contact; he’ll find a way to help you get out of there.”
He gestured for Da Fu Ge to tell him about the Contact for the Fei Hu Battle Team at this island’s dock—an extra layer of safety.
“Ah, what a pity! I want to see it too,” Jiang Yu lamented. “But I’ve already died once; I can’t be so reckless with my life again.” With that, he shook his head and began packing his things.
“When faced with challenges, don’t force it. If you’re outnumbered, use your wits. Whether or not you get what you’re after doesn’t matter; what’s important is to keep your life safe. Once you lose your life, everything is over,” Da Fu Ge advised him.
“Got it,” Lu Fei Fan nodded, remembering the words of these Special Operations Team veterans.
As he turned to leave, Fu Qinqin and the other team members were already lined up as if they had known Lu Fei Fan was going off on some solo mission.
“Kid, I don’t know what you’re planning to do, but I know someone like you will eventually leave our Special Operations Team,” Jiu Ye said somewhat sadly.
“Hey now, he’s not leaving the Special Operations Team; he’s not going off to die! Is that how you talk?” Da Biao couldn’t stand it any longer.
“Heh, I was just feeling a bit sentimental. You have to understand this kid’s strength… I’d probably lose against him even if there were a hundred of me,” Jiu Ye said sheepishly as he rubbed his bald head.
“Here are some antidotes and trauma medicine, along with two recovery potions. They may not be high-grade items, but hopefully they’ll be useful,” Cai Bi Sai handed Lu Fei Fan an emergency medical kit.
Jia Jia scratched his head, unsure of what to give. He had used up all his throwing knives during the confrontation with Ayou, and in the end, he could only offer a man's embrace.
"Make sure to come back alive. When you return, we'll have a good drink together," Da Biao said, patting Lu Fei Fan on the shoulder.
Finally, everyone walked away, leaving Qin Qin with her head down. Lu Fei Fan looked at her, momentarily at a loss for words.

"I..."
The two spoke almost simultaneously.
"You go first."
"You go ahead."
They echoed each other once more.
In the end, Qin Qin lifted her head to look at him and then made a surprising move that left Lu Fei Fan somewhat stunned—she threw herself into his arms, holding him tightly before releasing him and turning away without looking back.
Sighing, Lu Fei Fan thought to himself, what am I supposed to do now? He suddenly felt a headache coming on.
Adi approached as well, holding a bundle of grass that belonged to Cai Di. "Here, this is for you. My grandfather taught me that these can protect people and keep them safe."
Lu Fei Fan patted her on the head. Before the battle began, everyone had hidden her in a safe place and would only retrieve her afterward.
The peculiar atmosphere of the rainforest was ever-changing. As night fell, heavy rain arrived as expected. The torrential downpour extinguished the long-burning fires in the village and washed away the bloodshed. All the deceased creatures would eventually become nourishment for this rainforest, allowing it to thrive even more vigorously.
This is the cycle of nature's rules.
Lu Fei Fan had no map, but Yun Kui had promised to wait for her. Under the stormy night sky of the Rainforest, beneath a tree illuminated by flashes of lightning, Yun Kui stood waiting by a towering tree. As Lu Fei Fan approached, she found it strange that Ming Hao was nowhere to be seen.
Yun Kui was also unaware of Ming Hao's whereabouts. She took out a special map made from Beast Skin and handed it to Lu Fei Fan.
"This was left by my grandfather. He was once the clan leader, but after he went into the Rainforest to find the Holy Tree seeds, he suffered severe injuries. By the time he returned to the village, he was no longer able to lead. The map was entrusted to me in the end. A flash of lightning lit up the sky, and when Yun Kui looked up again, Lu Fei Fan had vanished without a trace. She leaned against a tree and gazed into the distance before finally turning away and disappearing into the rain.
