In the cave, the passages were numerous and winding, with the occasional howling wind adding to the eerie atmosphere. 0

The cave was not dark; on the contrary, vibrant colors illuminated the space, with light streaming down from openings in the ceiling. 0

A young man dressed in white stood in the cave, wearing a pair of slightly blue-tinted glasses that constantly adjusted to the surrounding heat signatures. However, he found nothing of interest in this place. 0

Suddenly, a loud noise erupted from the other end of the cave. He turned around, and his silver firearm instantly emitted a beam of white light, sweeping through the air and striking a swarm of bats. 0

The bats shattered into frozen fragments, falling to the ground. 0

“Hmm?” He looked at the remnants with confusion. Once he confirmed they were indeed bats, disappointment washed over him. 0

After all, if that person were so easy to deal with, Lancer wouldn’t have sent him here; it would have been an overestimation of his abilities. 0

But just as he turned back around, a shadowy figure darted past him like a ghost, sending a chill down his spine. He instinctively fired his weapon in a frenzy. 0

White beams of light pounded against the stone pillars, causing them to crumble and crash to the ground with loud thuds. 0

Boom! 0

Across from him, Lu Fei Fan also fired a shot. The large-caliber bullet from his Specialized Energy Revolver smashed through a stone pillar, sending dust and debris flying. 0

The young man quickly dropped to the ground to take cover. His glasses continuously displayed fluctuating temperature data from the surroundings. Strangely enough, there was no heat signature from that person registering in his glasses. 0

What was going on? 0

Unbeknownst to him, Lu Fei Fan had circled behind him. The Silver Sparrow War Blade glinted ominously in the darkness as it descended toward him. 0

Just then, the young man whipped around suddenly. A Metal Ball shot out from his chest and rapidly formed into a metallic shield! 0

Clang! 0

The Silver Sparrow struck the metallic shield, splitting it in half with a thunderous crash. 0

This gave the young man an extremely precious moment to counterattack. 0

Gunfire erupted from his hands like a torrential downpour, but Lu Fei Fan's figure darted left and right, creating afterimages in his wake. 0

He could no longer hold back; he pressed a button on a mechanical arm brace attached to his arm, and a circle of red energy burst forth! 0

As he attempted to close the distance, Lu Fei Fan suddenly felt a chill run down his spine. He dropped to the ground and rolled away, tossing an object he had been holding for quite some time at the young man's feet. 0

The energy blade exploded with a loud bang, slicing into the surrounding coated walls and creating a deep crater. 0

However, the young man felt something strike the back of his foot. Looking down, he saw an Energy Grenade rolling at his feet. He quickly looked up to see Lu Fei Fan already retreating to safety. 0

“It’s over,” he muttered in shock as the last two words escaped his lips. 0

Boom! 0

The explosion kicked up dust and shook the ceiling above, causing a shower of debris to crash down on the young man. 0

He was completely buried under the rubble, with only his mechanical hand exposed, hanging limply and sparking with electricity. 0

Lu Fei Fan had no idea who this young man was, nor did he care. All he knew was that the other party had come to kill him, and he certainly wouldn’t show any mercy. 0

Having dealt with one simple opponent as a warm-up, he now faced the most troublesome and difficult old Fellow. 0

Lu Fei Fan once again activated the Pulse Breathing Technique, channeling Pulse Energy to blend into the darkness. 0

Yu Lao found himself in a damp cave, its walls draped with spider webs. Along the path lay numerous dead spiders, curled up in grotesque shapes, each one larger than the last, all seemingly intent on blocking his way forward. 0

He sheathed his Zhan Dao, which resembled a finely honed Tie Sha more than a traditional sword. With a swift motion, he pulled the Tie Sha from the body of a massive spider, as large as a bear. Green liquid oozed from the creature, corroding the Tie Sha and emitting wisps of smoke. 0

With a mix of anger and regret, he let out a few furious shouts before summoning several thick wooden stakes from the surrounding area. They shot forth and pierced through the spider, crushing it to pieces. Yet, despite this display of power, his rage remained unquenched. 0

Earlier, he had merely sensed some disturbance and entered the cave. To his dismay, he was besieged by these frenzied spiders that attacked him from the shadows. Caught off guard and unable to activate his abilities in time, he had no choice but to resort to close combat with his Tie Sha. 0

Fortunately, he had not reached his current level of strength by mere chance; even though he was a Top War General who hadn't engaged in hand-to-hand combat for years, dealing with these creatures was still well within his capabilities. 0

However, he couldn't shake off his confusion. Why were these spiders attacking him? Was it simply because he had intruded upon their territory? 0

Spiders were solitary creatures by nature; why would they band together to assault a single person? 0

Could it be that young man? 0

No way… He refused to believe that this young man possessed such power. If he could command countless spiders to attack him, even as a Top War General, he would be drained of Pulse Energy and meet his end. 0

The thought sent a chill down his spine; this young man must be eliminated. 0

Just as he pondered this unsettling notion, a slender spider attempted to retreat behind him. The faint sound caught Yu Lao's attention. In an instant, he executed a spinning thrust with his Tie Sha—thwack! 0

Squeak— 0

The Tie Sha struck true, impaling the spider, which crackled with electricity. 0

He lifted the Tie Sha to examine the spider that had been caught on it. It crumbled into dust before his eyes. 0

What in the world is this? 0

He squinted as he looked toward the cave, sensing movement outside. The creaking sounds resembled that of spiders... 0

He recalled the scene of being besieged and decisively turned around, clutching his weapon tightly. 0

Lu Fei Fan had also underestimated the shamelessness of this Old Fox. He had expected him to arrogantly slay the spiders, but instead, he turned tail and fled. It was truly a display of utter shamelessness. Lu Fei Fan couldn't help but chuckle; it seemed his plan to lure the spiders into attacking the Old Fox had failed miserably. 0

Well, since this Old Fox wouldn’t take the bait, he would have to take matters into his own hands. 0

In his mind, Lu Fei Fan clearly visualized the map of the cave. The dozens of scattered spiders were lurking within, monitoring Yu Lao’s movements, making it easy for him to keep track of him. However, along the way, he sensed something was watching him. 0

Just as Lu Fei Fan was closing in on him, nearly half of the spiders monitoring him perished; it seemed he had noticed them and cleared them out! 0

Yu Lao sprang out of the cave, planning to wait outside and conserve his strength. This young man likely understood the situation inside very well. 0

If that was the case, then he would send him and those spiders to their doom together! 0

He raised his hand as if tearing open a rift in the air. Countless Giant Trees began to descend, crashing down upon the cave. These Giant Trees seemed to come from nowhere, smashing into the cave's ceiling and causing it to collapse in a continuous rumble. 0

Lu Fei Fan sprinted inside, not expecting Yu Lao to employ such a tactic. 0

But perhaps this would deplete a significant amount of his Pulse Energy! 0

After half a moment, countless Giant Trees lodged themselves atop the cave’s entrance, haphazardly sticking out in all directions. From a distance, they looked like Giant Trees sprouting from the ground with their branches chopped off, leaving only trunks behind. 0

Yu Lao withdrew his hand and adjusted his Pulse Energy flow. With most of his Pulse Energy expended, he should be able to eliminate this pesky rat now. 0

The collapsing cave began to settle down. The chain reaction had caused a significant depression in that area, with dust swirling around. Yu Lao stood on a slanted cliff outside, observing everything as if he were a master controlling it all. Dealing with such insects that barely qualified as Fu Elites was a piece of cake; challenging him was akin to seeking death. 0

Now, the next step was to find that Shui Que woman... 0

He was analyzing the situation around him; that woman must be hiding in some cave nearby. 0

He figured she should be close by, so he turned to leave. However, just as he pivoted, something suddenly caught his attention. 0

Hundreds of meters behind him, amidst the rubble, a pile of stones erupted from the ground. Lu Fei Fan sprang up like a spring, holding the fully charged Azure Serpent Sniper Rifle in his hands! 0

Yu Lao looked on in horror as he saw Lu Fei Fan pull the trigger with a loud bang! 0

“Damn it!” 0

He quickly activated his Ability, causing several wooden beams to crash down around him. 0

But Lu Fei Fan’s fully charged shot was unstoppable; even the massive tree trunks that were as thick as two people embracing did nothing to diminish the penetrating power of that Energy Bullet! 0

“What kind of bullet is this?!” Yu Lao screamed in terror, losing his composure. 0

Even if he tried to escape, he would likely be hit and suffer severe injuries. 0

No longer holding back, he swung his Tie Sha with all his might, channeling every ounce of Pulse Energy to counter this shot! 0

Boom! 0

A burst of white and dark energy exploded against the cliffside, momentarily illuminating the desolate Gobi. 0

“Child! Seeking death!” Yu Lao shouted frantically, looking like a mad beggar as he dove underground and charged toward Lu Fei Fan. 0

Lu Fei Fan discarded his Sniper Rifle and drew out the Silver Sparrow. With all his Pulse Energy surging forth in pure white light, a pair of Black and White Wings unfurled behind him. He looked up at the charging Yu Lao and flicked his wrist with the Silver Sparrow War Blade, silver light glimmering as his pure white Pulse Energy surged outwards, enveloping him like a warrior brimming with battle intent! 0

“Come on!” 0

He couldn't hold back any longer. Excitement and fear surged within him, fueling his fighting spirit as he charged forward, ready to face the Top War General with all his might! 0

This was the first time, and perhaps the last! 0

In the distance, the rocks blocking the cave entrance were pushed aside with a loud clatter. Supporting herself against the wall, Shui Que emerged from the cave, her gaze weakly directed towards the horizon. 0

As a General, her vision was sharp, but it was precisely this ordinary ability that left her stunned, as if struck by lightning. 0

What lay before her was an image she would never forget, one that would be etched in her mind for eternity! 0

In the distance, that man roared like a force of nature. Following closely behind him, Feathered Wings erupted with a deafening roar, launching himself off the ground like a cannonball. He spun mid-air like a drill, darting towards the billowing black smoke of Yu Lao with the swiftness of an arrow! 0

"Seeking death!" 0

Yu Lao's voice thundered like a storm! 0

"Roar!" 0

Boom— 0
