After a thorough analysis, the two came to a conclusion regarding A Teng's sudden awakening of transformation abilities: it was due to Empowerment.
Following the cleansing of the D-Level Gene Solution and the modified version of Lu Fei Fan's Fu Mai Xi Shu, A Teng unexpectedly awakened his transformation capability. However, due to his insufficient Pulse Energy cultivation, he could only transform into simple forms. If his Pulse Energy were strong enough, he could potentially become many powerful entities, such as destructive monsters or even dragons.
Lu Fei Fan looked at A Teng with a mix of jealousy and envy, wondering how such luck could fall upon this ugly and morally questionable individual. It truly seemed unfair!
Feeling uncomfortable under Lu Fei Fan's gaze, A Teng shivered and took a step back, feeling a bit fearful.
"W-what do you want?" A Teng asked anxiously.
"I want to castrate you first and then kill you to protect the public, lest you transform into something naked and expose certain parts of yourself," Lu Fei Fan said while mimicking a slicing motion, causing A Teng to hurriedly cover his groin with both hands.
"Now that we understand your transformation is due to your Empowerment, there’s nothing to worry about. Your transformations should be controlled by your imagination, but for now, you can only turn into pigs or dogs," Lu Fei Fan continued until interrupted by another Fellow.
"Who said I can only turn into pigs or dogs? I can also transform into women!" A Teng replied defiantly, even chuckling lewdly.
Lu Fei Fan slapped him. "You pervert! You beast! You can't even spare yourself. Just think about it—if you transformed into a shy girl and were overwhelmed by a dozen strong men until you were utterly exhausted and battered, would you still dare to transform?"
A Teng imagined that scenario and felt an involuntary shiver run down his spine.
Then Lu Fei Fan began teaching him how to continue cultivating and explore the techniques for controlling his transformations. This was not difficult for Lu Fei Fan since he had access to the 'Hero' virtual Intelligent Encyclopedia, which provided many controllable directions and plans for cultivating Pulse Energy for A Teng.

This left both A Teng and Lu Fei Fan in fits of laughter and frustration; they often wished they could just knock some sense into him. Nonetheless, it became their greatest source of amusement as they pressured A Teng to transform into various women to flirt with different girls. Meanwhile, Dali and Lu Fei Fan would impersonate distant relatives like cousins to mooch food and drinks. If A Teng resisted, they would beat him up under the pretense of strengthening his physique and honing his spirit.
Unable to match their strength or skill, A Teng had no choice but to submit to their whims—after all, one was a hulking brute with immense strength while the other was a skilled fighter with advanced Pulse Energy capabilities.
In this occasionally joyful training, Lu Fei Fan, along with A Teng and Niu Dali, made considerable progress in their skills, whether in Pulse Energy cultivation or in combat and firearms courses. However, today she was dressed in professional attire: a black skirt paired with high heels and black-framed glasses. Her short hair and well-defined features gave her an air of authority.
Without much delay, she took out an envelope and handed it to him. “This is from President Jiang; he asked me to deliver it personally.”
Lu Fei Fan furrowed his brow for a moment but ultimately reached out to take it. Before he could open it, Li Wei explained her intent.
“This is a recommendation card for the guild. With it, you won’t need to queue for Unified Examination qualifications. However, you must fill out the details accurately; remember not to provide false information. If the Federal Government finds out, your exam scores will be deducted. I’ll take my leave now.” With that, Li Wei turned and left the ward.
Just then, Lu Fei Fan's younger brother bumped into her at the door. He paused for a moment but stepped aside to let Li Wei pass.
After watching the professional woman leave, Hua Jun Tang hurriedly entered and leaned closer to Lu Fei Fan. “Bro, who was that? A suitor or a girlfriend? She’s quite good-looking.”
“Neither,” Lu Fei Fan replied dismissively, uninterested in his brother's gossip.
Hua Fei Fan's Mother waited until their conversation ended before speaking up. “Fei Fan, that girl seems really nice. She’s been here several times just chatting with me. If you need help, you can go to Azure Dragon Guild and ask her; she can arrange for your dad to be transferred to a better hospital with a private doctor for treatment.”
Lu Fei Fan glanced at his father still sleeping on the hospital bed and sighed deeply. Then he looked determinedly at his mother and said, “Mom, just wait; your son will definitely not let you down. I will make sure Dad gets better!”
Tomorrow will be very important! It will also be a brand new beginning for me. Lu Fei Fan told himself this deep down.

In contrast to his mother's emotional turmoil, Lu Fei Fan remained calm. "Mom, trust me. Dad will recover; at least there are medicines in this world that can bring him back."
"Really?" Upon hearing this, Hua Fei Fan's mother stopped crying, her eyes igniting with a glimmer of hope. "Is there really a medicine that can wake your father up? The doctors at the hospital say it’s all up to miracles now."
"Yes, really." Lu Fei Fan assured her with certainty. "The medicine is called 'Jinwu Holy Blood Pill.' It has the power to bring the dead back to life. Even someone gravely ill can recover as long as they have a breath left. It is made from the blood of the Golden Crow Sacred Beast, but the 'Jinwu Holy Blood Pill' is very expensive."
"Expensive? How expensive?" Hua Fei Fan's mother was suddenly filled with hope again.

“Your brother is here,” he comforted her.
“Fei Fan, this is too expensive. We don’t have that much money…” Hua Fei Fan's Mother calculated her savings and realized that even continuing treatment at the hospital was becoming a burden, let alone buying the precious medicine, the Jinwu Holy Blood Pill.
“That’s exactly why I need to participate in the Unified Awakeners Examination. As long as I earn the title of Fuser, we will have hope! Mom, I will definitely pass,” Lu Fei Fan said confidently again. This wasn’t just for his mother and younger brother; it was also for himself. This was his only path—he could only succeed, not fail.

That night, he didn’t meditate or connect to the Virtual Network with his Superbrain Device. Instead, he sat quietly beside his father’s hospital bed, watching him sleep peacefully. Lost in thought, he recalled countless memories—some from this life and some from his past life; memories of himself, of family, of joy and sorrow. No matter how much he changed, he could never return to that world. Even if he didn’t want to face it deep down, the cruelty of this world hadn’t changed. He could only make himself stronger if he wanted to change everything.
The long night passed just like that.
The next day, Lu Fei Fan bid farewell to his mother and younger brother, as well as to his father lying on the hospital bed—the same father who had taught him how to steal from good families—and set off with his two close friends, A Teng and Niu Dali, towards the registration office for the Unified Examination, embarking on a new journey in their lives.
Little did they know that this path would be filled with hardships and challenges but would also be magnificent and grand.
