Two hours later, the storm began to weaken, but the rain continued to fall incessantly. 0

Outside the prison, a sleek hovering vehicle approached from a distance, its four engines transitioning from propulsion to downward thrust as it descended slowly, splashing rainwater from the ground. 0

The guards in the prison guardhouse widened their eyes at the sight of this luxurious amphibious car. Its smooth and elegant lines, along with its powerful engine, signified its high cost and exceptional performance. 0

Those who knew quality recognized it as the 'Fei Ting' manufactured by Lodin Heavy Industries. The front of the vehicle featured an exquisite dragonfly emblem, making it one of the finest amphibious cars available, aside from amphibious aircraft. 0

As the car came within half a meter of the ground, the side door opened with a hiss. The driver and bodyguard quickly emerged to hold an umbrella for the person getting out. 0

From the back door, a long leg as delicate as jade stepped out, adorned with luxurious high heels. Following that was its owner—a young woman in a noble pink gown who emerged from the vehicle. Her stunning face was enough to make many men swoon. 0

She had beautiful, captivating eyes that resembled serene lakes. Her slender figure was perfectly accentuated by the gown, highlighting her flawless curves. Especially striking were her long, slender legs that peeked out from the slit of her dress, igniting the imaginations of men who watched her with hungry eyes, envisioning how they might grasp those pristine legs and overpower her. 0

However, many of the guards who had been openly staring at the young woman suddenly noticed an old man standing beside her. He leaned on a cane, his bald head and hunched back clad in a traditional Chinese outfit. He appeared to be in his sixties and somewhat drowsy. But upon seeing him, they all felt a jolt of awareness wash over them, as if they had been seen through; an uncomfortable sensation prickled at their skin. 0

Several guards quickly diverted their gaze from the woman, fearing they might attract the old man's attention. The elderly man stood under a large black umbrella held by a security guard, side by side with the graceful young girl for a moment. Behind him trailed four imposing bodyguards, each towering around six feet tall and clearly well-trained. 0

"Wang Bo, is this 'Black Iron Prison'?" The young woman asked curiously as she looked around like an innocent girl unfamiliar with the world. 0

"Yes," replied the hunched old man with a nod while stroking his beard. He too was observing the prison. 0

Known as the most secure facility in the southern Free Federation, 'Black Iron Prison' was surrounded by towering fences and high walls that confined tens of thousands of dangerous criminals. Lu Fei Fan was also temporarily held here. 0

Originally intended by the Free Federation for exiling criminals, this island gradually evolved into a prison. Layer upon layer of block buildings were constructed higher and higher in hopes of creating more cells to detain enemies. 0

"Let's go inside, sister," said the old man as he led with his cane while his bodyguard remained close by holding an umbrella. 0

"Alright," replied the girl, filled with curiosity. 0

Wang Bo reached the prison entrance and waved his hand to signal his bodyguard to communicate with the guards at the guard booth. 0

"Open the door." 0

"Who are you...?" The guard asked, still unsure about this group. 0

“Don’t worry about who we are, just open the door,” the bodyguard said calmly. 0

“What’s going on?” At that moment, the Duty Captain in the guard booth was drawn over. He glanced outside at the old man and the bodyguard, then greedily stared at the pretty girl who was looking around. Reluctantly pulling his gaze away, he impatiently said, “No entry without a pass!” 0

The bodyguard was about to say something when the old man slowly hobbled over with a cane. 0

“Young man, no one has ever dared to be arrogant with this old man!” With that, a metal badge, about the size of half a palm, was tossed onto the table. The Duty Captain was startled and gasped, his eyes widening as he looked at the table. The badge was made of pure Black Gold! 0

Black Gold was a rare mineral mined from the deep sea, more expensive and scarce than gold itself. Only the wealthy could afford to use it for decoration. 0

This item was undoubtedly a luxury. Since Federal Coin became the main currency of the Free Federation, gold had become increasingly rare, let alone something as valuable as Black Gold. Such things were typically only accessible to the upper echelons of society. 0

The captain was ecstatic as he picked up the Black Gold badge and bit into it; it was genuine, pure beyond doubt! 0

He felt an overwhelming excitement; just this piece of pure Black Gold could easily be exchanged for over four hundred thousand Federal Coins. He was about to strike it rich! 0

The old man stood there, calmly stroking his beard, his half-closed eyes seeming very composed. 0

When the captain flipped over the Black Gold badge, he nearly fell to his knees in shock; there was a lion engraved on it! 0

“This… this is… I’ll have someone open the door right away!” 0

With trembling hands, he returned the golden badge to the old man, who nodded for the bodyguard to take it back. 0

“Open the door quickly!” The captain straightened up and shouted immediately. 0

“Captain, isn’t it against orders to open the door without permission…” a guard suddenly approached to remind him. 0

“Slap!” The captain slapped him across the face and scolded, “I said open it! Stop dragging your feet with nonsense!” 0

The guard, looking aggrieved, covered his face and turned to lift a metal cover and press the button to open the door. The sound of clanking echoed as the prison gate slowly opened. 0

The captain bowed respectfully as the old man turned to greet the curious girl who had been watching. 0

“Sister, let’s go.” 0

With that, the group headed straight into the prison. 0

The guards at the entrance were filled with confusion, unable to understand the background of the old man and the young girl. 0

“Captain, what’s going on? Why are we letting them in?” one of the injured guards asked, rubbing his face in frustration, unable to grasp his captain's reasoning. 0

“What’s going on? Hmph.” The captain returned to his seat and took a large gulp of water to compose himself before explaining, “How many people in the Free Federation’s Black Gold Badge would dare to carve a lion?” 0

“You mean they are…” 0

“Shut up! If you don’t want trouble, keep your mouth shut.” The captain coldly interrupted him. 0

The guard immediately covered his mouth, no longer daring to speak. He then watched as the old man and the young girl walked further inside, swallowing hard. 0

At that moment, Lu Fei Fan was locked in a dimly lit cell, along with several dozen others who had been caught outside in the rain during their exercise time. 0
