Ugly held a pink, tentacle-like appendage, about ten centimeters thick, which appeared to have numerous suckers on it, as if it had been severed from some creature.
His smiling face revealed no particular emotion, adding an air of eeriness. He shook the tentacle, which seemed to come alive, wriggling on its own for a moment.
Then Ugly walked over and tossed the tentacle, saying, "Could you please take care of this? Remember to use an ice blade to cut it; otherwise, the meat quality will diminish."
Lu Fei Fan and Iron Rooster both caught the heavy tentacle with their hands. With decades of butchering experience, Iron Rooster had certainly seen this kind of thing before.
"A Crimson Armored Octopus..." Iron Rooster murmured, trembling slightly as he examined the marine creature. Its smooth, oily skin felt surprisingly pleasant rather than repulsive, exuding a unique fragrance. The strange patterns on its skin looked quite dazzling.

Ugly calmly walked to the waiting area to drink tea, seemingly unconcerned about the million-dollar value of the octopus tentacle.

Following this, Iron Rooster instructed Cuihua to seal them in a special freezing box. After finishing his cup of tea, he checked the time—it was nearly time for the agreed delivery.
At that moment, Iron Rooster excitedly rushed out to inform the client, “Sir, all the seafood you requested has been processed!”
The client nodded in satisfaction and squinted at Lu Fei Fan, who was directing several workers as they moved the sealed boxes. There was something different about Lu Fei Fan compared to their first meeting; he seemed more composed. Yet, the client could not discern what had changed—could he be a newly awakened Fuser?
However, he was merely curious and did not probe further.
Under Lu Fei Fan's leadership, A Teng, Niu Dali, and Cuihua—the "mother beast"—worked diligently to fulfill all of the client's processing requests. Everything was stored in a special freezer that was quite costly for Iron Rooster; typically, only major clients would use such equipment. Ordinary freezers could only keep fresh meat for a few hours at most, while this one could preserve processed seafood for over twenty hours. Even the separated organs remained fresh and lively.
Looking at the mountain of freezers stacked up, the client nodded in satisfaction several times. He then produced a card from seemingly nowhere and swiftly swiped it through Iron Rooster's card reader. Several thousand energy points were transferred into Iron Rooster's account.
Iron Rooster watched as the energy points were credited and couldn't help but feel excited; his face flushed with joy. This meant that Slaughterhouse could sustain itself for some time.
The client ignored them and walked straight up to the stack of freezers. Meanwhile, Lu Fei Fan observed every move he made. Suddenly, the client produced a playing card as if by magic and tossed it toward one of the freezers. The card landed perfectly on it and emitted an astonishing white light that enveloped both the card and freezer before they vanished!
Lu Fei Fan stood there in shock, mouth agape as he stared at the client in disbelief!
The ugly figure turned around, chuckling softly to himself, and then produced a deck of playing cards with both hands. Like a nimble dragon of cards, he swiftly shot out one card after another, each one landing precisely on a different refrigerator, all in perfect alignment. A flash of light passed by, and those refrigerators vanished.
This time, including Iron Rooster, Niu Dali, and A Teng among others, everyone stood there dumbfounded!
When the figure turned back around, all the refrigerators that had been stacked behind him were gone, and even the playing cards in his hands had disappeared. He glanced at the crowd staring at him with their mouths agape and waved his hand as he left.
It wasn't until he vanished from sight that Iron Rooster murmured, "It must be Fuser..."
"Fuser..." Lu Fei Fan, along with A Teng and Niu Dali, though not unfamiliar with this occupational title, had never truly encountered these human Fusers who could contend with the various ferocious monsters outside the safety zone.
Of course, they, living in the safety zone, had no idea what the outside world was like or how vast it was; as long as they could live a stable and peaceful life, that was enough. For Lu Fei Fan at this moment, he was more concerned about settling the wages with Iron Rooster since today was the payday for the month.

Lu Fei Fan looked at Cuihua, who was dressed up flamboyantly and robust like a mountain. An inappropriate image flashed through his mind of being pinned down by this lustful creature on the bed and subjected to various torments. Suddenly, Lu Fei Fan shivered uncontrollably and without a word grabbed A Teng and Niu Dali to flee while leaving Cuihua standing at the door cursing after them.
