The night had completely fallen, and if it weren't for Nars' moonlight-bright eyes illuminating the path for Liu Xuan, he truly feared he might step into nothingness at any moment. The only sounds accompanying him were the crunching of broken branches and fallen leaves underfoot, a reminder that he was indeed still in the mountains. 0

Under Nars' guidance, Liu Xuan arrived at the cave he had noticed earlier. As he was looking around, he suddenly stepped into a pit and was about to fall when Nars swiftly turned and caught him. "Are you okay? I forgot to mention there's a pit here; I noticed it just yesterday," Nars said as he helped Liu Xuan regain his balance. 0

Liu Xuan noticed that Nars' hand was very warm, unlike human body temperature. His reflexes were impressive; he must have been a professionally trained soldier before. Liu Xuan followed behind Nars, lost in thought. 0

Inside the cave, there was nothing to provide light, and Liu Xuan hadn't brought anything—he had planned to return home before sunset. However, the light in Nars' eyes was enough to brighten the cave. Nars noticed Liu Xuan's gaze falling on a damaged box nearby and explained, "This is my medical kit—" 0

He then lifted the lid of the box and pointed inside. "But it's mostly used up." 0

Liu Xuan nodded, silently noting this in his mind, and then sat down with Nars. "Alright, now you can tell your story." 0

(The following is Nars' narrative) 0

In our culture, we refer to our homeworld as Kumul, while our neighbor is Vamulel, which you know as the Moon and Earth respectively; I will continue to use these terms out of respect for your customs. 0

Before I begin, I must reveal a fact: the Lunar Civilization has always been observing our neighbor Earth. According to our ancestors' records, Earth is much older than the Moon and has nurtured several generations of civilizations that ultimately vanished for various reasons. 0

Our civilization has been fortunate; it has never come to an end. The beginning of our civilization can be traced back two hundred thirty million years ago, during a time when neighboring planets were still under the rule of giant dinosaurs. In our legends, a Divine Realm Envoy descended upon this star system. Upon discovering that the Moon had a hollow layered structure, he infused it with Life Crystals to enlighten its internal civilization and left behind four-dimensional spacetime Spell Arts for us to practice. From then on, our civilization flourished alongside Earth. 0

The core of the Moon occupies sixty percent of its total mass, with five percent being an artificial barrier created by our ancestors that separates the inner essence from the inner self. Internal Humans can only utilize about twenty percent of the Moon's resources. Our Inner Beings can never coexist with Internal Humans because they are inherently violent and extremely aggressive. We once lived together; it should have been a perfect community sharing this beautiful hollow underground world. However, their atrocities forced my royal ancestors to issue an expulsion order, banishing them to the realm of inner essence. 0

In our historical legends, the ancestors of Internal Humans were a group of wicked demons who were exiled by Inner Beings. To prevent them from returning to disturb Inner Beings' lives, we constructed barriers. 0

They always believed that Inner Beings oppressed their ancestors because that is how their ancestors educated their descendants. Over time, Internal Humans developed a culture centered around martial prowess aimed at revenge and reclaiming what they believed was their rightful land. 0

Due to their proximity to the Moon's surface, they were also the first civilization to set foot on it. They once carved human-like faces on the Moon's surface; in our culture, this symbolized seeking armed assistance from others. They called for help from the universe to overthrow Inner Beings' rule over their territory, but clearly no civilization understood their intent. 0

We Inner Beings advocate peace and never easily provoke war. In our legal philosophy, so-called bad people deserve opportunities for redemption rather than complete annihilation; thus, we have never actively attacked Internal Human civilizations throughout history. The Inner Core of the Moon was once a highly developed civilization where citizens thrived under wise rulers amidst beautiful landscapes. If not for the disturbances caused by Internal Humans, every day in our kingdom would have been enchanting. 0

However, a monstrous resurgence obliterated the entire civilization of Inner Beings. 0

The monster is known as Ban Sa. He has a fearsome nickname—Godslayer—and he lived during the later stages of our civilization. Gifted with extraordinary talent, his power grew at an astonishing rate, surpassing everyone’s understanding. Not only was he physically formidable, but he also mastered a vast array of Spell Arts. While most people can only master one Spell Art to the level of an inner sect master in their lifetime, he managed to learn nearly five high-intensity Spell Arts. 0

Such strength gradually led him to develop a different set of values. Believing that power was above all else and having grown up among the internal people, he quickly became a key participant in planning large-scale wars for the internal humans and rose to the position of second-in-command. With Ban Sa's involvement, their first planned offensive had already surrounded the entire border. 0

Faced with the escalating military threat from the internal humans, my great-great-grandmother relinquished her throne and led an army into battle, personally confronting Ban Sa. She even resorted to using a star domain-level Tier 3 weapon known as Curry to subdue him. At that time, Ban Sa was merely twenty-four years old by your age standards. 0

Our ancestors used a Time Portal to launch him out of the moon—I too was ejected from within the moon using a Time Portal—leaving him to fend for himself in the launch pod. Yet, he survived, and no one knows how he managed to live for thousands of years. Among us Moon People, our oldest elder barely reaches 1,026 years. 0

Legend has it that his launch pod was inadvertently discovered by a Divine Realm Envoy cruising through the star domain and brought back to the Divine Realm. Out of goodwill, they revived Ban Sa, but he showed no gratitude; instead, he secretly forged a nearly two-meter-long giant axe using the core of the Divine Realm's fire seed and infused it with all the power he had cultivated throughout his life. His giant axe has since been recognized as one of the universe's top ten destructive weapons—the Tear Star Battle Axe. 0

The Tear Star Battle Axe is made from an extremely unique material; the entire axe head is composed of aerogel-like substance yet possesses a density akin to nuclear pasta. The strength of nuclear pasta is one hundred billion times that of ordinary steel; it is formed under extreme pressure within neutron stars into a pasta-like nuclear structure. Destroying it would require energy equivalent to one hundred billion times the weight of the Sun, which means that the Tear Star Battle Axe is nearly invincible in the universe—anything caught beneath its blade faces certain cleaving. 0

The Tear Star Battle Axe can cleave through nearly all known metals in the universe. With this axe in hand, Ban Sa unleashed a massacre in the Divine Realm. His ambitions swelled to such an extent that he even challenged the highest authority in the Divine Realm—the Time-Space King. However, he was no match for them and was left on the brink of death after his defeat. Ultimately, out of compassion, the Time-Space King cast Ban Sa into space. 0

The King's mercy brought catastrophic disaster upon our Inner Beings civilization. Later on, Ban Sa drifted through space, expanding his influence based on his fearsome reputation; many of his subordinates were not Moon People because of this. 0

Upon returning to the moon, he disregarded our king's warnings and easily cleaved a massive gap in our barrier. He sent someone named Xiu Sha to lead internal humans into Moonheart territory, rampaging and killing along the way. Xiu Sha was no ordinary individual; he was a perfect military talent. Without much effort from Ban Sa himself, Xiu Sha consumed sixty percent of our territory in just two years and even sent assassins after my father—the leader of Inner Beings, Nagarde. 0

Thus, burdened by my father's death, I ascended to power and continued leading our Inner Beings in battle. I repelled their numerous assaults and faced Xiu Sha myself but found ourselves evenly matched. However, I was too young. 0

Xiu Sha's cunning ultimately led his forces to break through our last line of defense. As I raised my blade intending to take my own life, I was forcibly lifted onto a meteor-like launcher by my brothers from the Forbidden Zone special forces squad who vowed to protect me at all costs and fled from that war-torn land filled with corpses. 0

Liu Xuan listened quietly as Nars shed a tear. 0

"Watching my brothers die one after another while I escaped—can you understand this guilt and shame I feel?" Nars forced himself to maintain composure as he looked at Liu Xuan. 0

Liu Xuan felt a lump in his throat—he too had experienced such feelings. He thought of his own father and said, "I understand; my father died because of me as well. In our helplessness, we are alike." 0

He recounted his experiences with his father in detail to Nars, who sighed and said, "I'm sorry you had to go through that. I can tell he loved you dearly; it's just that he couldn't find a way to express that love." 0

A long silence ensued, broken only by the sound of tears dripping onto the ground, drop by drop. 0

Liu Xuan finally shattered the stillness of the cave, saying, "Hey, didn't we launch a missile that hit you? Why are you still alive? And there should have been a loud noise when you fell to the ground, so why didn't I hear anything even though I was so close?" 0

Nars shrugged his shoulders and casually explained, "Well, when I was twenty-seven percent of the way to Earth, I detected an object heading towards my spacecraft. So I immediately activated the separation device, leaving a large mound of dirt to collide with your missile while I used my cloaking technology to bypass it. As for why there was no sound, it's because I chose to redirect all my remaining fuel to thrust in the opposite direction. By the time I was about to land, I had almost no speed and landed smoothly on the ground. That thing is down at the foot of the mountain; do you want to go take a look?" 0

Just as Liu Xuan was about to agree, shouts echoed from the mountains: "Xuan'er! Xuan'er! Where are you? Don't scare your mother..." 0

"Oh no, it's too late! Sorry, I have to go!" Liu Xuan quickly stood up, grabbed his things, and ran outside. 0

"Be careful not to trip!" Nars called out. 0

"I'll be fine, don't worry!" Liu Xuan ran further away under Nars's watchful gaze. 0

Nars hoped his eyes could help guide Liu Xuan's path, so he waited until Liu Xuan disappeared from view before returning to the cave. 0

Looking out into the dark night, Nars noticed something shifting in the night sky through the gaps in the trees. An unsettling premonition surged within him as he focused his gaze. 0

A large Time Portal opened in the air, and a battleship slowly emerged, hovering above as if searching for something. 0

"Oh no!" Nars hurriedly stood up. "They're here!" 0
