Beibei had just eaten some fruit and asked Cloud, "Is the next place far?"
"Hey, not at all. It's right in the center of the town ahead," Cloud replied, smoothly gliding along with Beibei.
As soon as they landed, Beibei heard a rush of water. "Is that you, Cloud? What brings you here?"
"Wishing Well, long time no see," Cloud greeted warmly.
"Well, well, well! Who is this adorable little girl? So clever and beautiful, loved by everyone!" The enthusiastic Wishing Well chatted with Beibei. "You must be here to toss some coins, right? One is never too few, and ten is never too many!"
Feeling a bit shy, Beibei tossed all eight coins from her pocket into the pool.
Seeing this, Wishing Well laughed even more joyfully. "I have a great promotional package: eight coins for ten Leaf Coins, or seventeen coins for twenty Leaf Coins. Since it's for you, Cloud, I'll give you an unbeatable deal at cost price: ten coins for ten Leaf Coins."
Beibei didn't think it was expensive; she was just curious. "Wishing Well, why do you need so many coins?"
"Oh dear little sister, that's a long story. When I was first born, the pool wasn't this big. When I turned one, there were only a few scattered coins in it," Wishing Well reminisced. "Cloud," Beibei said with a helpless smile as she watched her friend eagerly eyeing the food. They clinked their glasses together. "Cheers to our future efforts in making our wishes come true!"
