Beibei had just eaten some fruit and asked Cloud, "Is the next place far?" 0

"Hey, not at all. It's right in the center of the town ahead," Cloud replied, smoothly gliding along with Beibei. 0

As soon as they landed, Beibei heard a rush of water. "Is that you, Cloud? What brings you here?" 0

"Wishing Well, long time no see," Cloud greeted warmly. 0

"Well, well, well! Who is this adorable little girl? So clever and beautiful, loved by everyone!" The enthusiastic Wishing Well chatted with Beibei. "You must be here to toss some coins, right? One is never too few, and ten is never too many!" 0

Feeling a bit shy, Beibei tossed all eight coins from her pocket into the pool. 0

Seeing this, Wishing Well laughed even more joyfully. "I have a great promotional package: eight coins for ten Leaf Coins, or seventeen coins for twenty Leaf Coins. Since it's for you, Cloud, I'll give you an unbeatable deal at cost price: ten coins for ten Leaf Coins." 0

Beibei didn't think it was expensive; she was just curious. "Wishing Well, why do you need so many coins?" 0

"Oh dear little sister, that's a long story. When I was first born, the pool wasn't this big. When I turned one, there were only a few scattered coins in it," Wishing Well reminisced. "But Mayor Linglu was very pleased; he thought I would bring more wealth and tourists to the town. So my pool was expanded and adorned with beautiful sculptures. The more coins there were, the more exquisite I became! You see, how could I not work hard to promote coin tossing?" 0

"But tossing coins doesn't grant wishes, does it?" 0

"Oh dear sister, there’s no such thing as free lunch!" Wishing Well gently educated her. 0

Suddenly, a series of urgent beeps came from Beibei's bag. She quickly answered her trumpet flower phone: "Hello, Mom... Yes, I'm in town... Okay, I'll come home with Cloud for dinner." 0

"Cloud, I've thought about it, and Wishing Well is right. There are no shortcuts to fulfilling wishes," Beibei chatted with Cloud on their way home. "When my first shooting star wish didn't come true, I had a feeling. The witch's Magic Potion has serious side effects, elder tree's red cloth is just a trick, and the koi are troubled by all those wish-makers." 0

"Beibei, these methods are merely beautiful hopes for people. It's not just Wishing Well; there are also sky lanterns, message bottles, floating lanterns, and so on. Don't place your hopes in these methods." 0

Cloud spoke confidently, "Once, while driving passengers, I met a Tree Spirit Granny. She bought an expensive Wealth Talisman from a so-called master. She bought lottery tickets every week without fail, but in the end, she didn't win much and ended up spending quite a bit." 0

"So, if you want to fulfill your wishes, don't rely on luck or shortcuts; hard work is what truly matters." 0

Suddenly, Cloud came to a sudden stop. They had arrived at Beibei's house, just in time to see the dining table already filled with Cloud's favorite dew and ice cubes. She was drooling. "Beibei, let's eat first. After dinner, we can work hard to fulfill your wishes." 0

"Cloud," Beibei said with a helpless smile as she watched her friend eagerly eyeing the food. They clinked their glasses together. "Cheers to our future efforts in making our wishes come true!" 0
