Our son has been misbehaving; arrange for him to transfer schools immediately and send him abroad for some serious reflection. No one is allowed to let him return without my permission."
Lin Suyue's face turned pale as she struggled desperately, her voice hoarse with emotion. "Are you even human? All you care about is clearing your own name! Xiao Yan is your son! If you don’t care about him, who will?"
Tan Zheng found it laughable. "He’s also your son! You raised him this way and now you refuse to take responsibility?"
The two exchanged wild looks, each trying to shift blame onto the other. Their biological son felt like a worthless commodity neither wanted to reclaim, both scheming to offload their burden at any cost.
"Let whoever cares take care of him."
News of Tan Yan being sent abroad soon reached Zheng Yicheng's ears. He understood that Tan Yan had become a pawn discarded by his family; clinging to unrealistic hopes was pointless now. All he could do was endure this calamity that had fallen upon him from nowhere.
Fortunately, the hospital notified that Ye Bingran had awakened. After examination, it was confirmed that he was physically fine, though he had a broken leg and would need to rely on a wheelchair for the time being.
