The sound of water echoed in the bathroom, and through the misty glass, two figures could be faintly seen entwined together. The temperature continued to rise as they emerged from the bathroom. Sheng Yanzhou lifted Ruan Fuxi effortlessly, leaving a trail of damp footprints that led from the bathroom to the bedside.
Ruan Fuxi wore a silk nightgown that hung loosely on her, revealing a patch of fair skin that glowed beautifully in the night. Ruan Fuxi said nothing; she merely tightened her embrace around him, her cheeks flushed and her eyes shimmering, her entire being soft as water. Ruan Fuxi took a moment to assess how she felt.
Feeling a bit weak, she shot him an annoyed glance.
Sheng Yanzhou recalled the beauty of last night, his earlobes turning slightly red.
"Xiao Xi, is something wrong? Let me give you a massage," he offered.
Ruan Fuxi replied firmly, "No."
"It's just the feeling after circulating the technique once," she added.
The spiritual energy flowed through her meridians, and the discomfort from the initial experience quickly faded away.
After a moment of thought, Ruan Fuxi blinked and smiled, "Next time, I'll teach you the dual cultivation technique."

As Sheng Yanzhou listened to her words, his hand around her waist grew warmer, his voice hoarse.
