As Ruan Fuxi's words fell, the barrage in the streaming room erupted like a festive celebration, lively and chaotic.
"Sister Ruan is calling Director Sheng to her room!"

Sheng Yanzhou paused for a moment as he listened to Ruan Fuxi, his mind racing with thoughts that made his ears flush red. However, he quickly realized that Little Xi must have something serious to discuss with him, and it wasn’t what he had imagined. Although, deep down, he felt a flutter of anticipation.
After Ruan Fuxi finished speaking, she glanced around at the excited faces of those nearby. Seeing their eager expressions, she raised an eyebrow. "Aren't you all coming?"
Upon hearing this, everyone straightened their postures immediately. But as they dispersed, they couldn’t help but exchange knowing glances and suppressed gossiping expressions.
Standing in front of the wooden cabin, Ruan Fuxi turned her gaze toward Sheng Yanzhou. He caught sight of her glowing beauty under the moonlight, and their eyes met across the silvery glow. An indescribable mix of anticipation and nervousness welled up inside him.
He looked at Ruan Fuxi, his gaze softening with warmth that could rival the moonlight itself.
The viewers in the streaming room were filled with excitement, eagerly awaiting what would happen next. They watched as Sheng Yanzhou and Ruan Fuxi exchanged a few quiet words, both wearing gentle smiles that spoke of unspoken understanding and harmony. Then they stepped inside and closed the door.
The audience widened their eyes in disbelief.
"Wait, is there really anything our esteemed viewers can't see?"
"By the way, can’t we follow them inside?"
"Wahhh, when I get rich in the future, I’m buying a phone that can see through walls!"
Inside the cabin, Sheng Yanzhou inhaled the faint fragrance lingering in the air as his gaze fell on Ruan Fuxi. His voice came out slightly husky, resonating clearly in the small space around them.
Ruan Fuxi listened to his voice, her heart stirred, and she felt her face grow warm without realizing it. During her time in the cultivation world, she often heard Sheng Yanzhou's voice whispering sweet nothings in her ear during intimate moments. Hearing that voice now made her instinctively want to cling to him, to unbutton his clothes, and caress his chest and broad back.
However, she hadn't called Sheng Yanzhou over for that; she had something important to discuss. Ruan Fuxi first set up a soundproof barrier, then poured them both a glass of water. The cool water swirled in the bamboo tube, helping her steady her somewhat fluttering thoughts. She handed him the water and cleared her throat.
"Yanzhou, do you want to cultivate?"
Sheng Yanzhou looked surprised at her words. "Xiaoxi, are you talking about cultivation? Not some metaphysics or something else?"
Ruan Fuxi nodded. "Yes, I mean cultivation. It can strengthen your body and extend your lifespan."
Although there might come a day when she could change his short-lived fate, Ruan Fuxi still subconsciously wanted a double assurance. After all, the heavens of this world were still in a deep slumber. If Yanzhou could cultivate, with herself and the heavens backing him, he would surely live long and have the strength to protect himself in the face of danger.
The reason she was only asking Sheng Yanzhou now was that he needed time to adjust after regaining the use of his legs, and she had only recently made another breakthrough in her own cultivation, confirming that he had the aptitude for it as well.
