Ruan Fuxi raised an eyebrow and smiled at the subtitle. It was impossible for her to reveal her face; she had to maintain the mystery of a fortune-telling broadcaster.
Then, she connected with the last person of the day, the final consultation. Once the connection was established, a woman appeared on the screen, her face worn and haggard, looking to be in her thirties. Her online name was Bubulian.
Before Ruan Fuxi could speak, Bubulian jumped in, "Broadcaster, I want to know about my fertility. Am I destined to have no children?"
At nineteen years old, Wang Lian had been married to her husband for eight years without a single child, and she was on the verge of breaking down. She just wanted an accurate answer—was she truly fated to be childless? Otherwise, she wouldn’t have spent three thousand yuan just for a fortune-telling session.
Ruan Fuxi examined her features. "You’re nineteen this year, and your fertility palace is full; you are destined to have children."
Wang Lian's eyes brightened with a glimmer of hope, but then she spoke bitterly, "If I’m meant to have children, why haven’t I gotten pregnant yet?"
Ruan Fuxi frowned at her words. "Can you provide me with your birth details?"
Wang Lian complied.
Ruan Fuxi calculated based on her birth details and confirmed, "Indeed, your birth chart shows the same result: you are destined for children."
Wang Lian seemed puzzled and muttered to herself, "So is it just not the right time?"
At that moment, Ruan Fuxi added, "No, considering you haven’t conceived all these years, have you thought that it might be an issue with your husband?"
Wang Lian replied, "I have thought about it. We both went to the hospital for check-ups. Later, I saw his report—it said there were no issues."
After three years of marriage without conceiving, she had dragged her husband to the hospital for tests; both were deemed normal but still couldn’t conceive. She had even tried numerous remedies and traditional medicines, pouring bowl after bowl of bitter concoctions into her stomach. She had suffered so much for the sake of having a child!
Ruan Fuxi asked, "Do you have a photo of your husband? Let me take a look."
Wang Lian pulled out her phone and found a picture of him.
Ruan Fuxi glanced over the photo and stated bluntly, "It’s an issue with your husband."
Wang Lian was left somewhat bewildered.
"But I've seen his medical report, and there were no issues. Could it be that our fates are incompatible, and that's why we can't have children?"
Ruan Fuxi replied, "It's not about fate. Are you sure you saw his medical report at the first opportunity?"
Wang Lian shook her head, a bit dazed. "No, he picked it up himself. I saw it at home."
Ruan Fuxi suggested, "Why don't you look around your house? You might find something."
Upon hearing her reminder, Wang Lian suddenly remembered something and rushed to a desk where there was a locked drawer. Previously, she had been told that it contained confidential documents, so she was advised not to open it.
But now that she thought about it, her husband was just a minor employee; what kind of confidential documents could he possibly have access to?
