As Bean Eater spoke, he became increasingly agitated, as if he needed to pour out all the suffering he had experienced over the past few days. He had come across Yuan Zhao's post on social media and decided to check out Ruan Fuxi's live stream for fortune-telling. Although he was skeptical about whether she was a true master, he felt he had no other options left.
The audience in the live stream initially laughed at his misfortunes but soon began to feel genuine sympathy for him.
"To encounter all this within a few days, you must be having some bad luck!"
"I thought these were just coincidences at first, but after hearing more, it seems too unlucky for it all to be mere chance. Let’s see what the host has to say."
Ruan Fuxi asked him, "Did you go back to your hometown five days ago? Did your bad luck start after you returned?"
Bean Eater paused for a moment in recollection before nodding vigorously. "Yes, yes! That’s exactly it."
"From the calmness of the host, it seems like this is just a minor issue."
"I initially thought the host was a fraud, but after listening for a while, I realized she actually knows something."
Ruan Fuxi continued, "Think back to what you did on your way back."
Bean Eater pondered seriously. "I don’t think I did much... Just when I passed by a small dirt slope, I suddenly needed to pee."
Before he could finish his sentence, he hesitated at the thought of admitting to urinating outdoors in the live stream.
"Oh! So you just got out of the car and took care of it there?"
"It’s normal in the countryside; when you need to go urgently, you just find a spot by the roadside."
Ruan Fuxi pressed further: "Do you really think that was just an ordinary dirt slope? Think carefully."
At first, Bean Eater didn’t see anything unusual about it. But as he listened to Ruan Fuxi's words, something suddenly clicked in his mind and his expression changed dramatically.
That wasn’t just a dirt mound; it was a grave!
"That's right, that's someone's grave. Just think about it—if a stranger suddenly barged into your home and urinated all over the place before leaving, how would you feel?"
"Yeah, I wouldn't be able to stand it either. It's disgusting."
"That's why urinating by the roadside is risky. From now on, make sure to check your surroundings before you go."
Aichidou's face turned pale as he listened to Ruan Fuxi's words.
"Master, are you saying that thing is right next to me now?"
He had switched from calling him Bo to Master.
Ruan Fuxi glanced at the ghost standing just behind him and confirmed, "Yes, that's correct."
Aichidou slid off his chair, his legs giving way beneath him.
He wailed, "Master, you have to save me!"
Ruan Fuxi reassured him, "Don't worry too much. You've just had a bit of bad luck these past few days. It doesn't want your life yet. Just take a day off and go back to apologize in front of the grave. Clear away some weeds, buy some incense and paper money, burn them, and then leave. You'll be fine."
