But Ruan Fuxi quickly nodded. "I just embarrassed her in front of everyone; I don’t consider her a friend anymore. Don’t worry." Ruan Fuxi wasn’t as naive as the original owner; she wouldn’t be friends with someone who constantly backstabbed and slandered her behind her back.
Hearing this reassured Ruan Anmu; she feared that Xiao Xi might get betrayed by Yu Qi. She wanted to say something else when her gaze fell on a man nearby, filled with confusion. "Why is he still here?"
Following her gaze, Ruan Fuxi looked over and saw the male lead of the novel, Fu Sihan. She had to admit he was quite handsome.
"Is Fu Xian still here?" Ruan Fuxi asked him. "Weren't we supposed to go to the hospital to see your uncle's leg injury? Why hasn't he left yet?"
Fu Sichan gave her a strange look before walking away. Ruan Fuxi felt a bit puzzled by his gaze. What did he mean by looking at her like that?
Recalling the romantic subplot between him and Ruan Anmu in the novel, Ruan Fuxi became curious and asked, "Xiao Mu, do you know him? I saw you two chatting for a bit just now. What do you think of him?"
Ruan Anmu seemed to recall something, her expression turning regretful. "I didn't know him before; he should be fine, I guess. It's just a pity that he's a stutterer."
She then set aside thoughts of the stuttering handsome guy and excitedly asked Ruan Fuxi another question. "Xiao Xi, do you think the relationship between the Xu family and the Liu family is real?"
Ruan Fuxi nodded, "It is real."
Ruan Anmu's curiosity piqued even more. "What about that debt collector's grandson from the Liu family? Now that there's a child involved, they can't just abandon him, right?"
Ruan Fuxi smiled and replied, "There's a way; we just need to send the debt collector away."
Ruan Anmu knew she would have a solution! With that, she felt relieved knowing that they could save the child.
