After Ruan Fuxi resolved her elder brother's issues, she happily enjoyed her breakfast.
Not long after, Ruan Anmu and the others came downstairs.
Ruan Jili was a bit surprised to see Ruan Fuxi. "Xiao Xi, you’re up so early today."
Ruan Fuxi smiled. "Yes, I got up early to give my brother a gift."
Ruan Jili couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy. "What gift? Just for your brother?"
Ruan Fuxi grinned. "He’s been coming home late these past few days, so I wanted to be the first to give it to him. Mom and Dad, you both have one too."
Ruan Jili and Lu Manyun felt a mix of surprise and unease. They wondered if she had gotten into some trouble with a wealthy young lady or had her eye on some man.
Ruan Fuxi took out the prepared charms and handed one to each of them. "Dad, Mom, Xiao Mu, this is a safety charm that can protect you. You must carry it with you."
Looking at the ordinary charms in front of them, Ruan Jili and Lu Manyun almost asked if she had been scammed again after seeing some post online. After all, not long ago, she had been tricked into spending eight hundred thousand on an antique vase that an expert later declared was a fake, produced less than a month ago.
However, considering their daughter's good intentions, they thought to themselves that if she had been deceived, so be it.
"Xiao Xi, how much did you spend on this?" Lu Manyun was curious about how much her silly daughter had been tricked into spending this time.
Ruan Fuxi replied earnestly, "Mom, I made these myself! They’re not like those cheap ones from outside."
Ruan Jili asked curiously, "When did you learn to do this?"
Ruan Fuxi giggled and laughed heartily.
"Recently, Dad, I've discovered that I have a special talent for this. Really, I'm sure I'll become a master very soon!"
Ruan Jili couldn't bear to dampen his silly daughter's spirits, but the protective talisman she had made didn't look very reliable at all. To avoid disappointing her, Ruan Jili and Lu Manyun took the talisman seriously and accepted it, putting it away carefully.
Whether it could truly ensure safety was another matter, but at least it was a heartfelt gesture from their daughter, which was the most precious thing of all.
Ruan Jili couldn't help but wonder if something had been troubling Xiaoxi lately. Perhaps he should find time to take her to see a psychologist for some counseling.
Only Ruan Anmu, who had witnessed Ruan Fuxi's antics before, was pleasantly surprised by the talisman and immediately took it.

Then she turned to Ruan Jili and Lu Manyun.
"Mom, Dad, you should believe in Xiaoxi; she's really amazing!"
Ruan Jili smiled on the surface but felt a bit worried inside. Was Xiaomu being misled? Should she also see a psychologist?
Were these two children starting to believe in such nonsensical things because of the pressure from their recent family situation?
Unaware of her father's thoughts, Ruan Fuxi finished her breakfast and sat on the swing in the garden. The garden had been rearranged according to her wishes, and now she placed her turtle in the center of the pond before taking out her phone.
