Lin Fan returned home, freshened up, and then lay down on his bed, pulling out his phone. After glancing at a photo of himself with Aunt Guo Xue, a smile spread across his face.
Soon after, Lin Fan logged onto a website to check his earnings from Angry Birds. The total was thirty million. After withdrawing the money, he logged into the Shouyan platform. Suddenly, Lin Fan's face lit up in shock as he exclaimed, "One million downloads? Hahaha!"
He then checked the earnings from Happy Match and saw it was only five hundred thousand. However, Lin Fan was still incredibly happy. This meant that his platform had potential for growth. He realized that there were still too few games available at the moment.
With that thought in mind, Lin Fan began to brainstorm what game to prepare next. After pondering for a while, an idea emerged in his mind: "Fruit Ninja."
In the bathroom, Guo Xue looked at her reflection in the mirror, her pretty face displaying a hint of helplessness. She noticed bruises of various colors on her slim waist and couldn't help but chuckle bitterly to herself.
I can't let Coco see me like this!
She shook her head with a smile, put on her pajamas, and walked outside. After lying down on the bed, she picked up her phone and sent a message to Lin Fan, asking:
"Are you asleep?"
After waiting for a while, there was still no reply from Lin Fan. She murmured softly,
"He must be asleep!"
Suddenly, she felt a sharp pain in her backside.
"Ouch!" she gasped, feeling the sting.
"Is it just now that I’m feeling this?" she sighed.
"This little brat really knows how to hit hard!"
The next morning, as Lin Fan walked out of the community, he noticed a Mercedes parked at the entrance. He approached the car, opened the door, and sat in the passenger seat. Looking at the stunningly beautiful Guo Xue, he said,
"Auntie, you look even more beautiful today."
Guo Xue rolled her eyes at Lin Fan and replied,
"You owe me an explanation."
"Huh?" Lin Fan asked in confusion.
"What happened?"
Guo Xue whispered, "Take a look."
With that, she lifted her shirt, revealing the scars on her slender waist. In an instant, Lin Fan felt a pang of heartache and asked, "Is it really that bad?"
"Hmph," Guo Xue replied, her voice tinged with grievance. "You owe me compensation."
Lin Fan blinked in surprise and asked, "How do I compensate you?"
Guo Xue's eyes sparkled mischievously as she thought to herself, "I’ll propose a condition later that you can’t refuse."
"Sure!" Lin Fan readily agreed. "I’m in."
"Hmph, remember that," Guo Xue said, scrunching her little nose. The smile on her charming face was particularly captivating as she drove toward the company.
Leaning against the door, Lin Fan watched her with admiration, thinking to himself, "Auntie is truly beautiful!"
Once they arrived at the company, Lin Fan turned to Guo Xue and said, "Auntie, you go ahead. I need to step out for a moment."
"Oh, okay," Guo Xue replied before heading inside.
After she went in, Lin Fan walked toward a nearby shopping mall. He remembered how someone had bullied her to tears yesterday and decided he wanted to make it up to her.
Standing in front of a jewelry counter, Lin Fan peered inside. After a brief glance, he spotted a necklace that caught his eye. He reached out and tapped on the glass, asking, "Could you take this necklace out for me to see?"
"Of course, sir," the salesperson replied, handing the necklace to Lin Fan.
After examining it closely, Lin Fan said, "Please wrap it up for me."
"Yes, sir," the salesperson responded with a bright smile.
After paying thirty thousand yuan, Lin Fan left the store.
Inside the group headquarters, Guo Xue noticed Lin Fan's absence and felt a wave of despondency wash over her.
"Auntie Guo," Lin Fan called as he walked through the door and approached her. He reached behind him and pulled out a small box, handing it to Guo Xue. "A gift for you, as an apology to make up for the pain."
"Huh?" Guo Xue replied softly. "Doesn't that mean every time you bully me, you'll just compensate me afterward?"
Lin Fan chuckled wryly and said, "So you're saying I can bully you whenever I want?"
