Lin Fan hesitated for a moment but eventually walked over and sat down in the chair, smiling as he said, "Sure!"
Li Yuer bounced over and sat next to Lin Fan. The two of them began to savor the delicious food. Lin Fan didn’t eat much; most of the time, he simply watched Li Yuer eat. Not only was Li Yuer beautiful, but she also had an alluring charm while eating, which made her particularly delightful to watch.
Lin Fan gazed at Li Yuer's face and asked, "Aunt Yuer, have more people been pursuing you at the company?"
Li Yuer nodded vigorously and replied, "So many!"
Lin Fan chuckled wryly and said, "Really? Well, okay then!"
Li Yuer blinked her eyes, looking curiously at Lin Fan as she asked, "What's wrong?"
Lin Fan shook his head and replied, "Nothing."
Li Yuer blinked again, feeling a bit disappointed inside, but she smiled and said, "It's nothing."
After they finished eating, Lin Fan turned to Li Yuer and asked, "Auntie, has the task I gave you been completed?"
"Oh right!" Li Yuer immediately smiled at Lin Fan and walked toward the bedroom, saying, "Come with me."
Lin Fan followed her into the bedroom. Li Yuer sat down in a chair while Lin Fan took a seat beside her. He watched as she opened an email. A picture appeared on the screen, showcasing various images below it.
She looked over at Lin Fan and smiled, "What do you think?"
Lin Fan admired the images; he saw a large red bird and a white goose. He nodded heavily and said:
Li Yuer pursed her lips and smiled as she said, "Alright, you continue. I’ll go tidy up."
"Okay."
With that, Lin Fan sat down on a chair and began programming the task he hadn’t finished editing yesterday. This task would take at least four days to complete. Today was the first day.
Three hours later, Lin Fan had completed half of it. He smiled and said, "That’s enough for now."
He then stood up, stretched lazily, and walked outside.
From the bathroom came the sound of running water.
Lin Fan called out, "Aunt Yuer, I’m leaving now."
Li Yuer looked at her beautiful reflection in the mirror and replied, "Mm, alright. I won’t see you off."
"No need!" Lin Fan chuckled and walked out.
Once back home, an image of Li Yuer bathing unexpectedly flashed through Lin Fan’s mind. He shook his head and muttered to himself, "I haven’t even seen it; why am I imagining things?"
With that thought, Lin Fan closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep.
The next morning, Li Yuer went to work. Lin Fan had the keys that Li Yuer had given him that morning. So he made his way to her house.
Once in the bedroom, he started programming again.
After a day’s work on the programming task, Lin Fan’s phone rang.
He picked up the phone and saw a message from Guo Xue that read:
"I'm at the entrance of the community."
Lin Fan quickly replied, "I'll be right there."
With that, he headed downstairs, holding Guo Xue's phone, and walked towards the entrance.
Upon arriving at the entrance, Lin Fan spotted a Mercedes-Benz. As he approached, he saw Guo Xue smiling brightly at him.
Lin Fan's gaze briefly wandered over Guo Xue's figure as he said, "Auntie, you seem to have gained some weight!"
At those words, Guo Xue's charming face twitched slightly as she asked, "What did you say?"
Lin Fan quickly whispered, "Nothing, nothing."
"Hmph," Guo Xue pouted playfully and said, "Give me the phone."
Lin Fan handed her the phone. Guo Xue smiled and said, "Not bad."
Lin Fan looked at her again and remarked, "Auntie, you really are quite impressive!"
After saying that, Lin Fan got out of the car and turned to Guo Xue.
