Pei Yichen's friend, Lin Yu, appeared. Lin Yu was a carefree and unrestrained hero. Upon hearing about Pei Yichen and Jiang Lian'er, he took the initiative to come to her aid.

His gaze was icy, as if he were a demon from hell. "Want to leave? Not so easily!" With that, another fierce battle ensued, ultimately subduing all the assassins.
Afterward, Lin Yu used his extensive connections in the martial world to provide Jiang Lian'er with information from outside her residence. He often stealthily entered Jiang Residence at night, visiting Jiang Lian'er’s room for secret discussions.

He patrolled around the Jiang Residence discreetly to prevent the Wang family from sending assassins again.
