"By the way, which school are you planning to apply to after elementary school?" Academician Zheng changed the topic.
There are many special intermediate academies in the Yunmeng Star System, but the original owner had limited channels for information. She only knew of five special schools on Yunmeng Star: First Middle Academy, Yunmeng Middle School, Ability Middle Academy, Thirty-Sixth Middle School, and Star Defense First Middle School.
The original plan was to apply to the Ability Middle Academy, specializing in abilities, which would allow her to advance directly to the Ability Academy later on.

What a timely offer! "Thank you, Academician Zheng," Lin Yao expressed her gratitude.
"You're welcome. If you're not in a hurry for the exam, you can stay and broaden your horizons," he suggested.
Lin Yao had originally intended to gain some experience, so she naturally nodded in agreement.

They planned to dig a large pit on the other side of the canyon and then have the Water Elementalists transfer the pond water into it. Lin Yao hurried over to observe quietly. Just as she peeked out, Academician Zheng waved for her to come over. After a moment's hesitation, she confidently walked to his side.
This spot was excellent for observation. High-level elementalists in action were not something one could witness casually. Since these elemental abilities were all elemental types, which had some connection to her Wood Elemental Ability, observing how these high-level users wielded their powers would benefit her in the future.
After yesterday's experience, Lin Yao felt a bit wary of him but still sincerely thanked Academician Zheng for his guidance. He waved his hand dismissively and said nothing further.
Standing beside him, Lin Yao quietly watched as several Earth Elementalists manipulated the soil without any dust flying around; instead, they stacked sections of soil neatly against the cliff face. To prevent landslides, they reinforced it with their Earth abilities, resulting in a smooth and tidy structure that resembled a stone wall.
The spectacle of high-level elementalists at work was impressive; their speed was remarkable as well. Within about half an hour, the deep pit was completed. Next, it was time for the Water Elementalists to take center stage.
They manipulated the pond water into graceful arches that guided it toward the deep pit on the other side. The water bridges were smooth and clear, resembling transparent tubes without a splash in sight.
"What are your thoughts?" Academician Zheng suddenly asked.
"Control and detail," Lin Yao replied succinctly.
"Elaborate."
Whether it was Earth or Water abilities, there was no excess soil or water scattered around, showcasing their powerful control. Their movements were simple and efficient, completing tasks flawlessly; if not for their attention to detail, they wouldn't have achieved such perfection.
Academician Zheng cast an appreciative glance at her. "Your summary is good, but you've overlooked one point."
"What is it?" Lin Yao looked at him in confusion.
Academician Zheng pointed at the elementalists in action. "With so many elementalists operating together, the most challenging aspect is ensuring that they do not interfere with each other."
Lin Yao suddenly realized the situation.
The Light Star System had been in a state of constant battle, focusing on how to quickly and accurately eliminate the beasts of the starry sky. Their usual combat style was simple and brutal, lacking the finesse required for detailed operations, as there was no time to pay attention to such nuances.
In contrast, the Yunmeng Star System was generally peaceful, without powerful starry beasts invading; only local creatures inhabited the planets. This allowed for more time to study their abilities, enabling practitioners to delve into greater detail and refinement in their control of powers.
The two approaches to using abilities could not be judged as superior or inferior; rather, it depended on the appropriate response to different situations.
Within less than an hour, several water-type ability users had completely drained the water from the deep pool. They were then directed to retreat to the cliffside, making way for earth-type ability users who began excavating downwards layer by layer, as if constructing a ladder.
Lin Yao widened her eyes, observing closely. Indeed, each ability user worked without interfering with one another, which required a deeper understanding and mastery of their own powers!
For high-level ability users, if consumption was not a concern, moving mountains and filling seas was merely a matter of course. Digging down a few hundred meters of stairs took just three or four ability users half an hour to complete. Not only was it constructed thoroughly, but it was also highly stable.
