Anna nestled gently against Andaro's broad chest, her body slightly tilted as she sought to deepen her "dependence" on him, as if it were under this man's protection that she could find peace and security. Her fingers casually caressed Andaro's arm, exuding an air of softness and trust, her eyes sparkling with tender light, completely captivated by his self-proclaimed "power," which only served to inflate Andaro's pride further. A subtle smile played on Anna's lips, yet a hint of cunning lurked in her gaze, reminiscent of a fox revealing its claws when no one was watching. 0

At that moment, the voice of Lie Hai crackled through her earpiece—deep and calm, tinged with a suppressed excitement. "Anna, I've recorded everything you just said; the evidence is more than sufficient. We can withdraw at any time; the mission has been executed flawlessly." A slight shiver ran through Anna at his words, and she couldn't help but smile inwardly, knowing her performance had been impeccable, capturing every word from Andaro clearly. A cold glint flickered in her eyes, yet her expression remained serene and gentle, as if she were entirely absorbed in Andaro's "protection" and "care." 0

Just then, Pox finally broke free from the throng of women surrounding him, his clothes somewhat disheveled and a hint of embarrassment and fatigue on his face. He scanned the crowd and finally spotted Anna in the corner, only to see her nestled closely against Andaro. Their proximity was intimate; Andaro's thick arm was tightly wrapped around her while Anna leaned comfortably against his chest, seemingly without a hint of resistance. 0

Pox furrowed his brow slightly, an unidentifiable pang of discomfort and confusion washing over him. A wave of unspoken displeasure surged within him as he clenched his fists, feeling as though words were stuck in his throat. He could only manage to call out softly, "Anna..." 0

Hearing Pox's voice, Anna turned her head to glance at him while still remaining close to Andaro. A gentle smile graced her lips as if she were entirely oblivious to Pox's tension and displeasure. She continued to lean against Andaro's embrace without any intention of moving away, instead gazing at Pox with warmth as if nothing was amiss. She softly asked, "Pox, what's wrong?" 0

Standing a short distance away, Pox wore an expression of awkwardness and reluctance. His lips quivered slightly as if he wanted to say something but hesitated due to the situation before him. He pressed his lips together and finally managed to say quietly, "It's nothing; I just saw you two chatting happily and wanted to come over." 0

Andaro noticed Pox standing nearby with an impatient look on his face and immediately signaled to the women around him. They understood the cue instantly and approached Pox with flirtatious smiles, surrounding him once more while playfully tugging at his arm to lead him away. Pox’s face flushed slightly as he struggled helplessly against their advances but ultimately allowed himself to be pulled away. 0

Seeing this, Andaro wore a smug grin on his face as he lightly brushed his fingers against Anna's hand. Leaning closer to her, he whispered, "This time belongs to us; let that kid relax for a bit." His voice carried a hint of malicious levity as if he could hardly wait to claim the beauty before him. 0

Anna smiled faintly but remained beside Andaro, seemingly acquiescing to his behavior. Her gaze held a subtle warmth as if completely captivated by Andaro's "protection," while internally she calculated her next move. Just then, a flustered young man in a suit rushed in from the other end of the banquet hall, anxiety written all over his face as he hurried toward Andaro. 0

Andaro turned impatiently to look at the young man with a look of disdain. "What is it? Why are you in such a hurry? Can't you see I'm busy?" His eyes flashed with warning; his tone dripped with anger as if being interrupted during this "wonderful time" was an unforgivable offense. 0

The young man trembled slightly under Andaro's gaze, lowering his head timidly while casting a wary glance at Anna. After hesitating for a moment, he lowered his voice and said, "Boss... this matter... it's really important." His voice quivered with unease as if what he had to say was critical and awaited Andaro’s response with urgency. 0

Andaro frowned slightly; displeasure flickered in his eyes but he sensed something unusual in the young man's demeanor. Taking a deep breath to suppress his anger, he glanced at Anna while maintaining a polite smile on his face; however, irritation simmered beneath the surface at being disturbed during this precious moment. 0

"Miss Anna, please wait a moment. I need to handle a small matter, and I'll be back shortly," Andaro said in a tone that feigned concern. He then turned to the young man beside him, his expression darkening as he signaled for him to step aside, ready to hear the urgent news. 0

Anna slightly turned her body, her peripheral vision catching Andaro and the young man as she observed their interaction. The young man leaned in nervously, his face hurried as he seemed to whisper something to Andaro, whose expression grew increasingly grim. At that moment, Anna noticed more men in black clothing had begun to approach from the corners of the banquet hall, one after another blending into the crowd, creating an atmosphere that felt suddenly strange and oppressive. 0

A sense of alarm surged within Anna, her instincts ringing like an alarm bell. She understood deep down that this banquet was already "over" for her. Suppressing her unease, she feigned nonchalance as she stood up, elegantly adjusting her skirt. She then cast a glance at Pox, who was surrounded by a group of women. With calm determination, she stepped into their circle, slightly bending down to grasp Pox's collar with an undeniable force. 0

"Young Master, it's time to go. The banquet is over," her voice was low yet firm, leaving no room for negotiation, as if each word carried a hidden warning. 0

Pox, caught off guard by Anna's sudden grip on his collar amidst the women’s chatter, looked up at her in surprise. The women displayed displeasure, complaining reluctantly; some even attempted to grab Pox's arm to keep him with them. 0

"Oh dear, Miss, why are you being so rude? We were just getting started!" one woman pouted playfully, trying to keep Pox from leaving. The others echoed her sentiments, showing their dissatisfaction with Anna's actions. 0

However, Anna showed no hesitation on her face; a glint of cold resolve flashed in her eyes as she pulled Pox up with unwavering strength. Her decisive demeanor left Pox no choice but to comply as he stood up obediently beside her. She linked her arm through his with little room for resistance and walked steadily towards the exit of the banquet hall. 0
