The Hunter's body trembled violently, as if completely overtaken by an uncontrollable force. The physiological ecstasy did not dissipate as it usually did; instead, it continuously pushed him to his limits, seemingly keeping him forever at the peak of that state. Every inch of his muscles convulsed, and his hands, driven by excitement, waved the knife wildly, striking at Marbury's body without any semblance of order. 0

Blood splattered everywhere, and the sound of the blade slicing through bone and flesh became sharper and more frenzied, filling the night with its cruel echoes. The Hunter's eyes were bloodshot, filled with ecstasy and madness, devoid of hesitation. His knife repeatedly slashed across Marbury's limbs, each cut taking away a piece of flesh, as if he were disassembling some wicked offering. 0

"Hahahahaha...!" The Hunter's laughter was sharp and insane, like a sound from hell. With every strike, he felt that ultimate pleasure spreading throughout his body; the trembling and chaos rendered him utterly devoid of humanity's struggle, leaving only an endless thirst for slaughter. 0

Marbury's arms shattered one after another under the Hunter's relentless assault. His left arm was severed like a rotting branch, falling to the ground in a bloody mess, muscles and bones separated, white bones piercing through skin in a gruesome display. Next was his right arm, which detached from his torso under the Hunter's merciless blow, landing on the ground like discarded trash. 0

Blood flowed wildly from Marbury's body; his legs were not spared either. The Hunter's knife struck madly at his left leg, the sound of cracking bones piercing and terrifying. That left leg fell to the ground after breaking off, lying alongside the already scattered arms, remnants of this bloody feast. 0

Marbury's torso was no longer recognizable as human; his body was brutally sliced into pieces by the Hunter, resembling a corpse treated with utter disregard. Only a right leg and a mangled torso remained, along with a twisted face still hanging in mid-air—pale and lifeless eyes that had completely lost their vitality but still held onto one last breath. 0

Marbury's breathing became weak and desperate; painful moans could no longer escape his throat. Only that face remained helplessly suspended in the air; as blood drained away, its color gradually turned to a deathly gray. In his trembling gaze lay despair and fear, as if he had already seen his own death yet could not escape this nightmare. 0

Suspended upside down in mid-air, Marbury’s body was a wreck; blood gushed from every wound like an unending fountain. As he gradually lost sensation in his body, blood covered his face, seeping into his eyes and blurring his vision. A dark red filter enveloped this world; the silvery moon no longer appeared clear but was replaced by a blood-red moon hanging high in the sky, casting an eerie glow. 0

Marbury widened his eyes at that crimson moon; suddenly, his heartbeat slowed as if briefly awakening from a nightmare. That blood moon seemed to be an ancient summons pulling at his shattered soul. His consciousness transcended bodily pain for that moment; instead, an inexplicable sense of pride surged from deep within him—a feeling as if some long-forgotten truth was unfolding before him. 0

"Is this... the answer?" The corners of Marbury's mouth twitched slightly; as this sense of pride spread within him, the pain on his face seemed to slowly dissipate. It was an indescribable feeling; he was no longer a helpless victim but part of something greater—a ritual where all this suffering and torment held purpose and meaning. 0

Blood continued to seep from his wounds, but Marbury no longer wailed in agony. Instead, a glimmer of madness began to shine in his eyes, and a smile gradually crept onto his lips. That grin was fierce and strange, seemingly reflecting an understanding and acceptance of fate—perhaps even tinged with a hint of pride. 0

"So that's how it is..." he whispered silently within himself; pain had become distant while a sense of noble mission took its place. He was no longer just that lonely helpless thug but a true sacrificial participant in some malevolent ritual. In that moment, it felt as though his soul was illuminated by the blood moon—reborn from suffering. Marbury's smile grew more pronounced; it bore an incongruous joy as if he finally understood the role he played in all of this. 0

As Hunter gazed at Marbury's smile, a deeper madness ignited in his eyes. He understood that this was a sign of the successful sacrifice. The light of the Blood Moon seemed to create a bridge between them, guiding dark powers into this world, and Marbury was the key to that door. 0

Hunter whispered those dark and extreme incantations, his tone frenzied and eerie, as if they came from an abyss not belonging to this world. Each spell was like an invisible chain, shrouding the entire scene in endless evil and darkness. His gaze burned with uncontrollable fervor, the dark words swirling in his mouth. With each utterance, the light of the Blood Moon intensified, and the air around them grew heavier, as if the entire world was silently awaiting the final chapter of this sacrifice. 0

"Everything... is for the Blood Moon..." Hunter murmured, raising high the blood-soaked knife, a glimmer of murderous ecstasy flashing in his eyes. 0

In that instant, he swung his hand down violently, the knife mercilessly plunging into Marbury's neck. The blade pierced through flesh and bone with a dull crack. Blood erupted like a frenzied spring from the wound, splattering across Hunter's hands and chest. The crimson liquid flowed over his gaunt body, as if it were a baptism in blood. 0

Marbury's eyes widened as he felt the fatal blow. His throat emitted a painful rasping sound, like some mad whisper. The last vestiges of life faded from his twisted face, yet the corners of his mouth still twitched with a manic smile. In that moment, his gaze no longer held fear; instead, it revealed an overwhelming pride and arrogance. 0

"Everything... is for the Blood Moon..." Marbury shouted deliriously, his voice hoarse and shattered but filled with a chilling fervor, like a cultist's final declaration before death. 0

Hunter looked into Marbury's eyes, a twisted smile curling at his lips. He yanked the knife free, blood gushing from the wound once more, splattering onto the ground amidst entrails and chunks of flesh. Without a hint of hesitation, he swung the blade again, this time mercilessly striking at Marbury's neck. 0

"Crack—" The sound of breaking bones echoed through the air. 0

The knife completely severed Marbury's head from his body; it fell instantly apart. The bloodied and tormented head rolled off the dangling corpse, tumbling several times before crashing to the ground and landing in a heap of bloody entrails. The head lay quietly on the ground, its eyes still wide open as if staring at the Blood Moon hanging high in the sky, its mouth still twisted into a gruesome grin. 0

Marbury's body remained suspended in midair, blood spraying from the broken neck like a fountain, soaking Hunter's ankles and the surrounding ground. The entire scene seemed engulfed by darkness; only the rolling head and the headless body hanging in space bore witness to this final sacrifice. 0

"Blood Moon... Blood Moon..." Hunter whispered repeatedly, as if caught in an inescapable ecstasy. His knife dripped with blood, his eyes filled with frenzied light. 0
