Revenge, doubts unresolved.
Why have I been under frequent attack recently? Although I could easily use these attacks to my advantage in parliament to gain more support and sympathy, I have decided to remain still for now, observing the true intentions and movements of my enemies. I must dig deeper, uncover the real culprit behind this, while also expanding my influence, reorganizing the army, and finding the reason for my own power mutation.
Revenge decided to hold a family meeting first. The meeting took place at the Myers family's ranch castle, a grand and ancient building symbolizing the family's glory and history. The meeting room was spacious and solemn, adorned with exquisite paintings and detailed maps showcasing the family's properties and territories.
Uncle Tommy and several ranch managers arrived one after another; they were important members of the Myers family and the backbone of its industries. Revenge stood in the center of the meeting room, focused on studying the maps on the wall, contemplating the next strategic move.
When everyone was gathered, Revenge cleared his throat and gestured for everyone to quiet down. He raised a glass of whiskey with a determined and solemn look in his eyes: "Thank you to all the members of the Myers family for being here. This is the first toast, to my father, my mother, and my sister. May they rest in peace, and may the Myers family be blessed."
The others also raised their glasses of whiskey, drank it all in one go, and a solemn and sorrowful atmosphere filled the air.
Revenge put down his glass, looked around, and continued, "Today's meeting, we will discuss an important issue. We need to expand our territory and recruit soldiers. If our family does not advance, we may face the danger of extinction. This council meeting has made me deeply feel the unease of vampires in the current turbulent situation. First, we must consolidate and expand our position in animal husbandry."
Pointing to several key areas on the map, he explained, "We are currently the largest animal husbandry giant, but that's not enough. We want to monopolize the entire market, which indirectly controls New Party. Vampires cannot complete animal husbandry because their instinctive craving for blood causes the livestock to be drained of blood before they can mature. This is our human advantage."
He turned to old Tommy and asked, "Old Tommy, how many livestock farming companies are there in the deputy city area now?"
Old Tommy replied, "In the first district, besides us, there are two other families. In the second district, there are five."
Revenge nodded and said, "We are going to acquire the five livestock farming companies in the second district. As for the Russell family in the first district, I will handle it personally."
Old Tommy asked with some concern, "What if they don't agree to the acquisition?"
Revenge calmly replied, "We can increase the acquisition price. If they still don't agree, we can block their supply channels at Vampire New Party and make their products unsellable, naturally they will agree. I have already coordinated with New Party on this side."
Old Tommy continued, "There is a new emerging livestock business that I want to remind you about. He is your father's good friend Louias, the one who used to hold you when you were a child. He also plans to enter the livestock industry."
Revenge frowned, pondered for a moment, and asked, "Louias wants to enter the livestock industry? Why? Hasn't he always been in the vampire equipment manufacturing business?"
He suddenly thought of a terrible possibility, his face changed slightly, but he quickly concealed his emotions, gave a few instructions, and then announced the adjournment of the meeting.
In the evening, Revenge changed into a tight black night suit, revealing his strong physique. Every muscle of his appeared distinct in the night, exuding a taut sense of power. He moved lightly and swiftly through the night, like a black shadow, quickly and agilely sneaking into Louias's courtyard.
Louias's courtyard was quiet, with only the gentle rustling of the night wind through the leaves. Revenge moved silently, concealed in the shadows. He saw Louias sneakily enter the backyard, look around, and after confirming that no one was following, he took out a strange-looking key and opened the door to the cellar.
Revenge followed behind Louias cautiously, ensuring that every movement was silent and unnoticed. He stayed close to the wall, maintaining a safe distance, quietly observing every move Louias made. As Louias descended the spiral staircase, Revenge followed closely, trying to tread lightly and not make a sound to reveal his presence.
The air in the cellar was cold and damp, permeated with a musty smell. Several dim oil lamps hung on the walls, emitting a faint glow. Revenge held his breath, carefully following Louias until they entered a hidden dungeon.
The dungeon space is spacious and gloomy, surrounded by large iron chains and rusty iron cages. Louias's voice echoed in the dungeon, full of anger and impatience: "You bunch of trash, trash!! Can't even kill a human!"
A lazy voice responded, "This kid is tough, we can't beat him at our level. If you're so capable, go catch a powerful vampire."
Louias roared in frustration, "I keep you lowly vampires to help me achieve my great ambitions. The White Robe Party handed you over to me, and your job is to obey!"
Revenge held his breath and carefully observed the situation in the dungeon from the cover of shadows. In the dim light, he saw a shocking scene: in the center of the dungeon, several vampires were chained with thick iron chains, their faces fierce, their eyes empty, and their bodies covered in scars.
These vampires look very similar to the ones that attacked him. Revenge's heart shook as he realized that Louias was actually raising vampires! These vampires were obviously tools imprisoned and controlled by Louias, used to carry out his sinister plans.
Revenge quietly approached, hiding in a dark corner, continuing to listen to Louias' conversation. Louias paced angrily, his face filled with anger and anxiety: "The White Party handed you over to me to control and use for my own purposes. You useless bunch can't even handle a single human, it's a waste of my resources!"
A vampire weakly lifted its head, its voice low and hoarse: "We tried our best, but that human is extraordinary. There is a powerful force within him that we simply cannot match."
Louias's face grew even more ferocious. He kicked the iron cage hard, making a loud noise: "Useless! Utterly useless! You must find a way to deal with that Revenge for me, or none of you will live to see another day!"
Revenge, stay calm and keep listening...
