The so-called Luminous Tower is actually a building that serves as both a Broadcasting and Television facility and a high-end commercial office space. It features a broadcasting signal tower on its rooftop and is situated at the confluence of the Songming River and the Songnan River.
On ordinary nights, the lights on the tower shine brightly as if it were daytime, flickering continuously and resembling a lighthouse over the rivers, which is why it is commonly referred to as the Luminous Tower.
Luminous Tower is a landmark building in Panlong City, with a total height of about 500 meters. One reason to visit this place is that Luminous Tower is located by the Songming River, which is a necessary crossing point to get to Jiangbei District. Additionally, as a landmark building in Panlong City, if the lights are turned on here, people several kilometers away should be able to see it.
If the military sees the lights flashing, they might dispatch military aircraft for rescue. To put it plainly, I still have a slight fantasy about the military's rescue operation. Finally, because the Luminous Tower is high enough, you can directly see the situation of the Jiangbei, Wangpu, and Shangqing central districts on the other side of the river from the top of the tower. I looked at the Luminous Tower under the nightfall, no longer shining with lights, and then I shared my thoughts with Fatty, who didn't seem particularly interested. We were awakened by the banging of the bathroom door downstairs.

It seemed that there had been intense fighting here before. I signaled to the fat man to prepare for battle, and he immediately drew his knife. We began to approach the main door of the first floor of the Luminous Tower.
Because in front of the Luminous Tower there is a square, usually there are many people here, but now it is empty.
In such an empty environment, the only word to describe the action is "fast".
I saw the fat man adjust his breath, as if he was catching his breath.
We covered the distance of tens of meters in just a few seconds. I never expected that the chubby guy's sprinting speed would be even faster than mine. Back in my college days, I could run the 100 meters in 11.5 seconds. It seems that the chubby guy, who is a professional athlete, is definitely not someone I, an amateur athlete, can compare to.
After rushing through the main gate, the fat guy took the lead, holding a knife and assuming a fighting stance. The first two monsters that rushed up were killed by the fat guy in an instant, as fierce and fast as a tiger. Judging from the uniforms the monsters were wearing, they should have been security guards in this building before they died.
I hold the Umbrella Sword in my left hand and grip the fire axe in my right hand, back to back with the fat guy, vigilantly staring at the door.

Fatty pressed the remote control in the security room, and the automatic grid door slowly descended. I stared outside, where several monsters had already spotted us and were running towards the building. The first few to reach us were all killed by me and Fatty.
In the time it took me to stab and hack one to death, only a few seconds had passed. However, the fat man had already cleanly dealt with three. He didn't hesitate with the monsters at all, each knife strike was a killing move.
Each one was killed with a single blow, without any hesitation.
The first monster roared loudly and pounced towards the fat man, who showed no fear and charged straight at it.
Just as the monster's claws were about to grab the fat man, he spun his knife, performed a flourish, and directly cut off the monster's two arms.
At the same time, taking advantage of the monster's stagger forward, the figure suddenly turned and swiftly circled behind the monster, directly raising the knife to chop towards the monster's head. The second monster pounced from behind the fat man, who gripped the knife and thrust it backward from his shoulder, directly stabbing into the monster's open mouth.

With a fierce pull, the monster was violently stretched forward, and the fat man took the opportunity to kick it out, sending the monster flying, with blood and flesh splattering everywhere. The fat man was even more decisive with the third monster.
After dodging the fierce lunge of the monster, the chubby guy sidestepped and instantly swung his knife at the monster's neck.
"With a thud," the monster's head had already rolled to the ground.
However, due to the huge inertia from its forward lunge, the monster's body continued to run forward, resulting in a "thud" as it crashed into the wall, and then directly tumbled into the large trash can in the corner.

After defeating the first four monsters that rushed over, the steel security grille door has completely closed.
