The Little Demons marched in perfect formation to the entrance of the Military Base, quickly arranging themselves into a dense square formation. Each Little Demon held a cannon, as if they were already accustomed to this mode of combat.
Then, they simultaneously fired their shells, preparing to launch an attack. At the command of the Enemy Commander, several shells rained down towards Lin Tianyu and his companions. The shells traced arcs through the air, carrying the scent of death as they approached their targets.
Meanwhile, the Japanese Commander and other officers stared intently at the screen, nervously watching the progress of the battle. They were certain that they would blow Lin Tianyu to pieces!
However, as the barrage approached, a hint of disdain appeared on Lin Tianyu's face. He calmly watched the incoming shells, seemingly unfazed by their threat. "You Little Devils really never learn," Lin Tianyu muttered under his breath, his voice dripping with contempt for the enemy.
Just as the shells were about to hit Lin Tianyu and his group, he harnessed his spatial power and instantly absorbed all the shells into his own space. This miraculous act caused the shells to lose their targets; what should have resulted in massive destruction vanished without a trace.
Immediately afterward, Lin Tianyu used his spatial power again to hurl the absorbed shells back out. Several shells fell from the sky like shooting stars, crashing directly into the crowd. Accompanied by deafening explosions, the shells detonated among them.
Screams erupted in waves, filling the battlefield. The sheer force of so many shells exploding at once was devastating. Most people were obliterated by the impact, their bodies shattered and blood staining the ground. Some were unfortunate enough to be struck directly by the shells, their bodies torn apart in a gruesome display.
Even worse, some were shredded by the shockwave at the moment of explosion, their remains scattering through the air. The area occupied by several Little Devils was left in ruins from the blast's power. Buildings within the base were instantly destroyed; walls collapsed and flames shot into the sky.
Smoke filled the air, dust swirling around as a strong smell of gunpowder and blood permeated the battlefield. "Baka!" The Japanese Commander stared wide-eyed at the screen in disbelief, an uncontrollable surge of anger and despair rising within him.
Several soldiers had been wiped out in an instant! What infuriated him even more was that the Military Base had suffered severe damage. Many structures lay in ruins, creating a scene of utter chaos.
"Arm yourselves and come with me! Your Majesty the Celestial Worm will protect us!" the Japanese Commander shouted, his face twisted in rage.
He knew that action had to be taken quickly; otherwise, the consequences would be dire. To boost morale, he roared continuously from the command center, trying to ignite the soldiers' fighting spirit.
"Long live Your Majesty the Celestial Worm! Long live Your Majesty the Celestial Worm!"
Just then, a deafening explosion rocked the room. A low-temperature bomb detonated in their command center, turning the entire space into ruins.
Amidst the soldiers' chants, they finally caught sight of their Island Nation's Heavenly Worm, their Your Majesty the Celestial Worm. It turned out that Lin Tianyu had noticed that these Little Demons soldiers were reluctant to emerge and devised a plan to bombard the command center directly. This decision proved effective, burying the Japanese Commander and other soldiers beneath the rubble.
Afterward, Lin Yi led his team into the base and conducted a thorough inspection, confirming that no Little Demons soldiers remained. They then split up and began frantically scavenging for loot. After all, this was a large Military Base, and there were plenty of ammunition and supplies inside.
Lin Tianyu would not let these free resources slip away easily. He arrived at the armory, opened the heavy doors, and stepped inside. The sight before him made his eyes widen in astonishment—the quantity of ammunition exceeded his wildest imagination.
