At the second gate of Snow Wolf Base, a thunderous roar echoed.
"Ahhh!!"
The enemy's firepower was overwhelming. "Retreat! Quickly, back inside the base!"
The Brothers had barely charged out for a few seconds when they were met with a barrage of incoming Rocket Launchers and Mortar fire.
In an instant, the sound of explosions filled the air, flames shot up into the sky, and dozens of mangled bodies flew through the air, blood raining down like droplets.
Once the rocket bombardment ceased, the Survivors among the Brothers thought they finally had a chance to counterattack. However, the official soldiers were already on high alert, not giving them any breathing room and immediately launching a round of suppressive fire.
Rat-tat-tat-tat-tat-tat! Rat-tat-tat!
Despite being outnumbered, the official soldiers did not deploy their full force; the number of Brothers far exceeded that of the official troops. Yet, with superior equipment and exceptional combat skills, the official soldiers managed to send the Brothers into disarray, crying out in despair.
In just one encounter, casualties were heavy.
"Run! Run! We can't fight back!"
"Damn it! Their aim is too accurate; some didn’t even see their attacker before being taken down!"
Seeing this situation unfold, Qin Zheng felt a jolt of fear but maintained his composure as he shouted commands amidst the chaos.
"Everyone, stay calm! We’re inside the base; we can’t get out, and they can’t come in either! This wall is much sturdier than the outer layer!"
He was right; after all, there was only one exit from this base. As long as they held that exit, the enemy couldn’t breach it!
Moreover, there were still nearly a thousand personnel within the base!
If those soldiers dared to enter, each one could be turned into a sieve with just one bullet!
"Hahaha!" A small leader let out a maniacal laugh. "Brothers! The bombardment outside has stopped; those big-headed soldiers are scared! They don’t dare to come in!"
It seemed that the officials also understood how precious their shells were. Since we weren’t going out, let’s see what they would do now!
Just as the Brothers were basking in their triumph, a sudden thunderous roar echoed through the air.
One by one, snow-covered armored vehicles crashed through what they believed to be the impenetrable second gate, storming into the base! The appearance of these armored vehicles left all the underlings in shock.
Everyone felt as if their faces were being pressed down against the ground by an overwhelming force, mercilessly grinding them down.
"Hit them hard! We must keep them here!" Qin Zheng issued a resolute command.
The Brothers quickly grabbed their weapons, aiming at the armored vehicles. Bullets rained down like a storm, yet they had no effect, failing to inflict even the slightest damage!
"Go to the ammunition depot and bring back some shells! Bombard them!" Qin Zheng turned and shouted at one of his subordinates.
That subordinate, upon receiving the order, swiftly led a few others toward the Ammunition Depot. However, it wasn't long before they returned, panic-stricken and hurried.
"Big Brother, the Ammunition Depot has been emptied! There's nothing left inside!"
Qin Zheng's eyes widened in disbelief as he grabbed the subordinate by the collar, furiously demanding, "What did you say?"
"Big Brother, it's true! I just opened the warehouse, and there was nothing left," the subordinate stammered, his face pale as if he had seen a ghost.
