On that day, Gao Yuan personally led the team, deploying over a dozen snowmobiles along with the base's only all-terrain vehicle, a dual-unit articulated tracked vehicle capable of carrying several soldiers or a significant amount of supplies. This time, Gao Yuan brought nearly two hundred armed personnel. Due to the limited number of vehicles, most of them used skateboards to glide forward.
Upon reaching Dragon Bay Villa District, they hadn't even scouted the roads when Gao Yuan had already seen Wang Peng's personal recorder and knew Lin Tianyu's exact location. The roar of the engines from the dozen snowmobiles echoed throughout the entire neighborhood.
Mu Wan was the first to hear the thunderous sound of the engines. She furrowed her brow, a sense of foreboding rising within her. She recalled Lin Tianyu's plans against Snow Wolf Base and speculated that either Snow Wolf Base was attacking or the Official Shelter had discovered their whereabouts. In either case, these people were their enemies. Mu Wan's expression turned serious as she immediately sprang into action, instructing her subordinates to prepare for battle.
"Duo Duo, take your position on the rooftop for sniping. The rest of you stay with me on the first floor. If things go south, fire at will!"
Meanwhile, Lin Tianyu, who was having breakfast, noticed the group entering the neighborhood. "I haven't even looked for you yet, and you come looking for me first? A bunch of fools!" he cursed at the surveillance monitor.
"You guys, find an attack position. Take advantage of this free target practice!" Lin Tianyu instructed the women around him. They nodded and began searching for their spots.
Outside the villa, Gao Yuan warned his brothers, "Pay attention! The enemy has artillery; stay safe." He wasn't sure how many rockets they had, so he alerted everyone in advance. Then he activated the loudspeaker.
"Listen up inside! Come out and surrender immediately! You are surrounded; hand over your weapons and surrender for leniency!"
Hearing the commotion below, Lin Tianyu couldn't help but laugh. "Why does that sound so familiar?"
Gao Yuan watched as everyone in the villa ignored him, and his anger surged within him. His face, already flushed with rage, turned a mix of purple and blue, as if twisted by an invisible force. With his eyes wide open in fury, he shouted, "Someone! Blast it open for me!"
Accompanying his roar were two dull thuds that suddenly echoed through the air. Boom! Boom! Two shells raced toward the sturdy iron gate like wild horses breaking free. In an instant, thick smoke enveloped the entire scene, creating a fog so dense that it obscured everything in sight.
However, it wasn't long before the billowing dust began to dissipate. Gao Yuan widened his eyes in disbelief as he saw that the massive gate still stood firm in its place, now marked only by a few charred scorch marks on its surface.
"Damn it!" Gao Yuan couldn't help but curse. What kind of cursed gate was this that even artillery couldn't breach? He was plunged into deep confusion, unable to comprehend how this seemingly ordinary iron door could be so indestructible.
Just as Gao Yuan was lost in thought, Duo Duo on the third floor raised her Sniper Rifle and unhesitatingly pulled the trigger. A sharp crack of gunfire split the air, followed by a bullet that shot out like lightning, striking the head of the man who had been firing the cannon. In an instant, his head exploded like a ripe watermelon, red and white matter splattering everywhere.
