"Lin Qi, Lin Jiu, you two go to the Official Shelter and investigate whether what Mu Wan said is true. If you find any issues, report back to me immediately."
On the way back, Lin Tianyu instructed the two with a serious expression.
"Understood, boss. We'll return with a report as soon as possible," Lin Qi and Lin Jiu exchanged glances and replied in unison.
Lin Tianyu nodded and then turned to the others, saying, "You all head back with me. We'll wait for their report before making our next move." The group nodded in agreement, and one by one, they turned to leave.
If everything Mu Wan said is true, then we really can't act recklessly; we must be fully prepared.
After returning to the villa area, Lin Tianyu first sought out the busy Xu Shuyang to inquire about the progress of the base construction.
Seeing Lin Tianyu arrive, Xu Shuyang immediately set aside his work and greeted him with a smile. "Boss, don't worry! I've already designed the entire renovation plan for the villa area. I guarantee you'll be satisfied."
"Oh? Then tell me about the specific plans," Lin Tianyu asked.
Xu Shuyang excitedly explained, "Boss, I'm planning to transform the entire villa area into an impregnable base. First, we'll build a sturdy outer wall to surround the entire area, effectively resisting external invasions. Next, we'll clear away the snow inside and establish various facilities, such as living quarters for core personnel, training areas, shooting ranges, warehouses, and so on. Finally, we'll set up a security area to ensure safety within the base."
Lin Tianyu carefully examined Xu Shuyang's design drawings and found the overall plan quite reasonable. Although some facilities might not be immediately useful—like warehouses—they would be beneficial for Lin Yi and others in storing supplies in the future. After all, not all resources can be kept in one's own space.
"Well done; this design looks great," Lin Tianyu nodded in satisfaction while looking at the blueprints.
Hearing Lin Tianyu's approval, Xu Shuyang responded confidently, "Boss, rest assured! We need enough alloy materials! Our base will definitely be the strongest!"
Lin Tianyu continued, "Then let's proceed with your ideas. First, go over to High-Rise and see if there are any Survivors willing to come help us. Tell them that anyone who participates in the construction will receive three buckets of instant noodles as compensation each day. Many hands make light work; this will also speed up our construction progress."
"Also, build a living area outside the villa area so we can accommodate some people to guard the entrance later."
Xu Shuyang nodded eagerly in response.
Lin Tianyu added, "One more thing: you need to relocate all residents of the villa area to those buildings outside of our planned zones. Give each household a box of bread and a box of instant noodles as compensation."
"Remember, if anyone dares to raise the price, take them out! Go find Lin Yi and those with him to handle this matter. Just say it's my arrangement. Go."
"Alright, I'll take care of it right away," Xu Shuyang replied after hearing Lin Tianyu's instructions. With the blueprints in hand, Xu Shuyang headed off to find Lin Yi and the others.
After Xu Shuyang left, Lin Tianyu found a secluded spot and took out some building materials from his space before returning to the villa.
Meanwhile, Mu Wan and her companions finally arrived at Lin Tianyu's villa area after a half-hour journey on the snowmobile. However, it took them two hours because their vehicle broke down, forcing them to walk the rest of the way. Mu Wan ventured deeper into the villa area alone.
