Qin Zheng furrowed his brows, speaking with some impatience, "No need for that. Bring up his Personal Recorder cloud playback and see what they are up to!"
Everyone at Snow Wolf Base carried a small Personal Recorder, which they had confiscated from a security equipment factory. To better monitor his subordinates' movements, Qin Zheng had insisted that they wear them whenever they left the base.
Gao Yuan nodded in acknowledgment and turned to the side, skillfully operating the computer. Soon, the screen displayed images of Wang Peng and the others.
As Qin Zheng watched the footage, his expression grew increasingly grim. When he saw the final scene, he could no longer contain his anger. He slammed his hand on the table and shouted, "Where did these people come from? How dare they openly challenge Snow Wolf Base! They must be tired of living!"
With that, he grabbed a wine glass from the table and smashed it against the floor, sending shards flying.
"Gao Yuan," he said coldly, "bring more people and eliminate these audacious fools!"
At that moment, Gao Yuan cautiously spoke up, "Leader, it might not be appropriate right now. We can't act rashly; otherwise, we could stir up unnecessary trouble."
Hearing Gao Yuan's words only darkened Qin Zheng's expression further. He fixed a steely gaze on Gao Yuan and asked, "Are you saying you're worried about that old coot at Official Shelter getting suspicious?"
Gao Yuan nodded and explained, "Exactly. This is a crucial moment for Brother Hong to take down that old man. If we send out a large number of our men now, they'll definitely notice."
"In that case," he continued, "not only would we lose our advantage, but we could also find ourselves in a passive position. It wouldn't be worth it for those reckless individuals."
Qin Zheng frowned tightly, contemplating for a moment before slowly responding, "Then what do you suggest we do?"
Gao Yuan smiled slightly and confidently replied, "Leader, I suggest we hold our ground for now and wait for the right moment. Once Brother Hong succeeds, it won't be too late for us to act."
"By then, all of Longhai will be under our control; no one will be able to stand against us."
Qin Zheng nodded slightly in agreement with Gao Yuan's suggestion. He understood the importance of timing.
Then he seized the hair of the Seductive Woman standing nearby and pressed her down to the ground. "I'm in a bad mood right now!"
The Seductive Woman immediately understood and began bowing repeatedly before Qin Zheng.
The next morning, as sunlight streamed through the windows and filled the room, Lin Tianyu, Shen Weiwei, and Shen Xiaoxiao emerged from their quarters.
Lin Tianyu appeared calm and collected, seemingly unfazed by the curious glances from the women. In contrast, Shen Weiwei and Shen Xiaoxiao looked somewhat awkward, their heads bowed in silence.
"Liyue, from now on, you will teach them how to shoot," Lin Tianyu instructed Su Liyue.
"Shooting? Are you really going to teach us?" Su Liyue asked, her face flushed with embarrassment as she looked at Lin Tianyu.
Lin Tianyu followed her gaze and his eyes widened in realization. "I meant shooting as in firearms!" he quickly clarified. "In case I'm not home and someone attacks the villa, you need to have some means of defense."
"Oh, I see! In that case, no problem," Su Liyue nodded in understanding, feeling a sense of relief wash over her.
After enjoying a hearty breakfast with the women, Lin Tianyu quickly dressed and stepped out of the villa. He glanced around and noticed Lin Yi and the others had been waiting outside for quite some time.
Today, they would head to Snow Wolf Base for a reconnaissance mission and look for an opportunity to eliminate this threat. The existence of this base was like a ticking time bomb that could explode at any moment; since they had already made enemies, it was imperative to find a way to eradicate it for peace of mind.
With that thought in mind, they set off.
