When Lin Yi and the others brought back the fleeing little brother, Lin Tianyu was already outside the villa, dressed in cold-weather gear, waiting for them.
Lin Jiu threw the tightly bound Xiao Kara off the Snowmobile, and she let out a yelp as she landed in the snow.
Lin Tianyu approached her, holding her by the head, and coldly said, "Tell me where you came from!"
"Big brother, please spare me! I'm just a little brother!" The young man stuttered, trembling as he begged for mercy.
"I'll ask you once more. Just answer my questions. If you say anything unnecessary, I'll blow your head off!" Lin Tianyu said impatiently.
"Big brother, we’re from that neighborhood a few kilometers away. Taozi brought us here to take revenge for his brother Shunzi!"
The little brother didn’t dare to say anything else and quickly answered Lin Tianyu's questions.
"His brother?"
"Yes, his brother. Last time Wang Lei came here with people and said his brother died here!"
Lin Tianyu recalled the person who had previously blown himself up and continued to ask, "How many of you are there?"
"There are about a hundred of us, all in that neighborhood's High-Rise."
The little brother dared not hide anything and confessed everything truthfully.
"Good. You can go now." After saying this, Lin Tianyu shot him without hesitation, ending the young man's life.
Lin Tianyu thought to himself that with so many well-equipped hands, knowing their headquarters would be enough; he no longer needed any other information.
"Boss, look who I caught!" Lin Shisan excitedly approached with someone slung over his shoulder.
"This guy was acting suspiciously near the villa earlier, so I brought him back," Lin Shisan reported animatedly to Lin Tianyu.
At that moment, the bound man hurriedly explained, "Brothers, I really mean no harm. I just have something to ask for your help."
Lin Tianyu had initially planned to kill this man but decided to hear him out upon hearing his words.
"Speak. Who are you?" Lin Tianyu coldly stared at the man before him.
"Big brother, my name is Xu Shuyang. I used to be a resident of High-Rise until Chen Yunsong and his gang took over my house and held me captive. They even took my girlfriend away and wanted to kill me. I barely managed to escape! Please help me!"
Xu Shuyang cried out.
Lin Tianyu listened quietly, his face showing no signs of emotion. In this apocalyptic world, such things were far too common; if he were to feel for every incident, he would have died long ago.
Seeing Lin Tianyu's indifference, Xu Shuyang hurriedly added, "Brother, I know you’ve killed several of their people before, which is why I came to ask for your help. As long as you’re willing to assist me, I’m ready to pay any price."
Lin Tianyu continued to look at Xu Shuyang with a blank expression. He waved his hand lightly and said flatly, "I’m not some great benefactor. Why should I help you just because you ask? Just kill him." With that, he turned to leave.
Hearing Lin Tianyu's words, Xu Shuyang panicked and quickly fell to his knees, pleading for mercy.
