"Sleepwalking, huh? You all continue, don't mind me," Zhao Shiying pretended to close her eyes and turned to leave.
Lin Tianyu found her antics amusing but didn't want her to just walk away. He decided to tease her a bit. "Hey, Shi Ying, what are you doing? Don't misunderstand! Your sister Xiao Li has been working too hard lately; I just wanted to help her with a massage, to relax her muscles."
Lin Tianyu explained with a mock seriousness.
Hearing this, Zhao Shiying's face darkened with a few lines of annoyance as she thought to herself: You two are lying in bed like that and talking about massages and body adjustments? This is quite an unusual way to go about it! Why did I have to walk in at this moment?
Chu Xiaoli, sensing the growing awkwardness, quickly broke the silence. "Alright, you two chat. I'm going to make you some food." With that, she hurriedly got dressed and left the room, leaving Lin Tianyu and Zhao Shiying alone.
Zhao Shiying grabbed her clothes, quickly put on her shoes, and rushed out of the room. "I'm going to help Sister Xiao Li with breakfast," she said, her voice tinged with shyness and panic as she seemed eager to escape the awkward situation.
"Don't rush!" Lin Tianyu was quick to grab Zhao Shiying's arm. His eyes sparkled with mischief as a sly smile crept onto his face, revealing an enigmatic grin.
"Why are you blushing? It's not like we haven't been together before. Look at you, all flustered coming over dressed like that!" Lin Tianyu teased, his gaze roaming over Zhao Shiying.
Then he reached out and touched her thigh, continuing, "What if you get cold? You should hurry back under the covers to warm up!"
"Ah?!" Zhao Shiying was taken aback; after just one day of rest, what was this guy up to again?
Before she could react, she was pulled back into the covers and found herself reluctantly engaged in a playful struggle.
At the breakfast table!
Shen Xiaoxiao sipped her porridge while observing Zhao Shiying and Chu Xiaoli. Noticing something odd about them, she asked, "Why are your faces so red? Are you running a fever? Do you want me to check?"
At her words, Zhao Shiying and Chu Xiaoli paused, then touched their cheeks, realizing they were indeed quite warm. They exchanged a glance, each catching a hint of shyness in the other's eyes.
"Xiao Xiao, we're fine. Let's just eat," Chu Xiaoli replied.
"Oh, if you feel unwell, make sure to tell me," Shen Xiaoxiao said, not pressing further. Only she, with her naive sweetness, thought they might be sick; the other women present knew exactly why they were blushing.
Meanwhile, Lin Tianyu was focused on his phone screen, oblivious to their conversation. He was reviewing the surveillance footage from outside the villa last night, trying to identify those people.
Suddenly, he spotted a group of men in black dragging Ma Jinrong into view. This indicated that these individuals were not from the villa area. If they weren't from the villa area, then where could they be?
Lin Tianyu furrowed his brow, lost in thought.
"Lin Tianyu?" Shen Weiwei called softly.
She noticed Lin Tianyu was gazing intently in her direction, his expression focused and profound.
