The residents of the community felt their hearts tighten as if gripped by an invisible hand upon hearing the sound, their anxiety escalating. How could it be that everyone was gathered in one place? It could only mean one of two things: either they were all about to be brutally murdered or robbed clean.
Wolf Lord and his group of Brothers were terrified, as if a thick, inescapable shadow loomed over each of them. They held only a few shabby guns, which they had painstakingly acquired from the black market before the impending doom. With such inadequate equipment, challenging Lin Tianyu was akin to striking a stone with an egg—foolhardy and reckless.
At that moment, Li Xue Ning and Ning Xiaomu were completely panicked and at a loss. Their bodies trembled uncontrollably, filled with extreme fear and unease, as if they sensed that escape from this disaster was impossible.
"Is it really certain that we will die this time?" Ning Xiaomu asked, her face pale as paper, her lips quivering.
"Ning Mu, don't be afraid. Maybe they just want some food," Li Xue Ning tried to suppress her own panic, feigning calmness as she comforted the equally terrified Ning Xiaomu.
Just then, downstairs, Lin Jiu noticed the group of people lingering at the entrance like frightened rabbits, hesitating endlessly. He couldn't help but feel irritated. Without saying a word, he raised his hand and fired several shots into the sky:

The sharp and piercing gunfire shattered the silence, echoing throughout the entire community.
"Move quickly! If you behave yourselves, I promise not to take your lives!" Lin Jiu shouted fiercely, his eyes revealing a chilling ferocity.
Upon hearing his words, everyone felt a tightening in their chests and dared not delay any longer. They hurriedly rushed downstairs.
Meanwhile, Wolf Lord also led his brothers out with a grim expression. Despite being filled with fear, he knew that he could not afford to gamble on luck at this moment. After all, if these people truly decided to fire a few shells at the building he was in, the consequences would be unimaginable!
From their immediate willingness to shoot without hesitation, it was clear that these individuals were ruthless and cold-hearted.
As time passed slowly, the crowd downstairs gradually swelled. Each person was bundled up in thick clothing, wrapping themselves tightly against the chill.

Lin Tianyu stood firm, his gaze sweeping over the dense crowd before him as he shouted, "Li Xue Ning?"

When he directed it towards the building, he was astonished to discover that there were still more than ten figures inside the building who had yet to evacuate!
Lin Tianyu frowned slightly. Could Li Xue Ning be among those people, too afraid to come down?
Without hesitation, he activated the loudspeaker in his hand, cranking up the volume to the maximum as he shouted towards the building, "Li Xue Ning, I'm here to pick you up! Come down quickly!"
His voice thundered through the air like a clap of thunder, echoing throughout the entire area.
