the fire crackled in the living room, where a dozen middle-aged men were gathered around it, seeking warmth. These men were all subordinates of the Wolf Lord, usually accompanying him on food scavenging missions and raids.

A man with a worried expression spoke up, his brow furrowed and face filled with concern. The Wolf Lord nodded slightly in agreement with his viewpoint.
