Before Lin Tianyu could respond, a cheerful notification chimed in, and Xuening's message eagerly popped up on the screen.
On the other side, Xuening asked, "Honey, do you have a lot of food over there?"
Lin Tianyu quickly typed back, "Yes, I have plenty of food. How about you?"
Soon after, another message from Xuening appeared: "Oh my gosh, luckily you told me to stock up on food earlier. I'm barely managing with what I have now. If it weren't for this food, I would have starved by now!"
Then another message flashed across the screen: "Honey, since you have so much supplies, can you come pick me up? I'm running low on food here, and worse yet, there are some shady characters lurking around!"
"Hurry and come save me! Those people are not good news; they've been bothering me outside the door."
Lin Tianyu stared at the series of messages on his phone, pondering that it wouldn't be a problem to pick her up. He had more than enough food that he couldn't finish himself, and it wouldn't do to let Lin Yi and the others remain idle; they needed to get moving.
With that thought, a faint smile crept onto Lin Tianyu's lips. He quickly tapped out a reply: "No problem, send me your exact location, and I'll come get you."
After sending the message, Lin Tianyu gently set his phone aside and turned to the women beside him to briefly explain the situation. Then he put on a thick winter coat and headed towards Lin Yi and the others' residence.
As Lin Tianyu reached the door, he didn't even have time to knock before it swung open as if it had anticipated his arrival. Clearly, Lin Yi and the others had been keeping a close watch on the outside.
"Boss, you've come personally! Is there something important you need to tell us?" Lin Yi asked respectfully as he stepped forward.
Lin Tianyu smiled slightly and replied, "Yes, tell the Brothers to get their gear ready; we're going out for a bit."
Without hesitation, Lin Yi nodded vigorously and said, "Got it!" He then turned and hurried inside to relay the message to the others.
Before long, Lin Yi led everyone out, fully geared up and organized in a neat line. At that moment, Lin Tianyu retrieved the Snowmobile from storage. He looked around at the eager faces of Lin Yi and the others and shouted:
"Let's go!"
With this command, Lin Tianyu and Lin Yi hopped onto the Snowmobile, racing towards Xuening's place.
Meanwhile, in Xuening's house, she and her best friend Ning Xiaomu were yawning repeatedly on the sofa. They had taken turns keeping watch last night and barely got any sleep.
Xuening glanced at her phone screen, where a message from Lin Tianyu had just arrived, filling her heart with joy and anticipation. The past couple of days had felt like a nightmare for Xuening as her neighborhood grew increasingly chaotic.
