No one had ever seen such a scene before, and now, in this dire situation, they followed Zheng Qiang just to fill their stomachs and survive. There was no way they would risk their lives for him!
"Scar, we can't break down the villa door, and the fence is surrounded by high-voltage wires. We can't get in at all!" one of the younger brothers shouted.
"What can we do? You know how ruthless the boss is. If we go back empty-handed, we’ll definitely face severe punishment," Scar sighed. He understood Zheng Qiang's merciless nature; if they returned without anything, they would surely suffer.
One of the younger brothers suggested, "Scar, we have guns in our hands. Why don’t we take matters into our own hands?"
Another chimed in, "Yeah, Scar! This villa area and those residential buildings over there haven’t been swept through yet. We could totally handle it ourselves. I haven't touched a woman in ages."
Hearing his subordinates' discussions stirred something within Scar. Zheng Qiang had saved his life before, and he had taken bullets for him as well; he was one of Zheng Qiang's trusted men.
In this chaotic situation where everyone was on edge, he had to consider his own interests. Zheng Qiang was cold-hearted and would likely kill to vent his anger upon returning, but he probably wouldn’t easily dispose of Scar—after all, he still held some value.
There would definitely be physical suffering involved! As for those Brothers? It was hard to say how many would die.
Following Zheng Qiang had once meant living a life of luxury! But now? Zheng Qiang could no longer offer him any benefits. The resources they had worked so hard to seize would have to be handed over to him willingly. This filled Scar with dissatisfaction and anger.

He knew that his actions could provoke discontent among his subordinates or even lead to them reporting him. So Scar could only silently endure the torment of these feelings of resentment, fearing that his men might discover them and inform Zheng Qiang.
When this mission failed and his subordinates suggested rebellion first, Scar felt a surge of joy in his heart; he knew that the opportunity he had been waiting for had finally arrived.
Though he felt elated inside, Scar still forced himself to maintain an appearance of loyalty, saying sternly, "No way! The boss has treated me well. Betraying him like this goes against the code of the underworld!"
Upon hearing this, several younger brothers frowned. One of them even grimaced and couldn't help but complain, "Scar, you're one of the boss's favorites; he won't do anything to you. But for us small fries? We could die out of nowhere any day!"
Another brother echoed, "Yeah, Scar! And after this mission failure, the boss definitely won't let us off easy!"
At that moment, another younger brother stepped forward to persuade them: "We used to be his dogs; now we're even worse than dogs. We’re not going back!"
Scar noticed the intense reactions from everyone and hesitated for a moment. He feigned a troubled expression, pondering for a long time before finally letting out a deep sigh and saying, "Well, since everyone feels this way, there's no other choice. For the safety of the Brothers, we have to take matters into our own hands! From now on, you are all my brothers!"
Upon hearing this, the younger members immediately became excited and expressed their support for Scar.
"Alright then. From now on, you are our boss!"
"Scar, where do we go now?"
Scar thought for a moment and replied, "We definitely can't go back to Zheng Qiang's place. Let's first seize a few villas to gather supplies! We need to stabilize things before planning our next steps."
"Got it, Scar! We'll follow your lead!"
