Time passed quickly, and in the blink of an eye, half a month had gone by. During this time, Lin Shi had diligently exercised every day, and combined with his treatment, his physical condition had greatly improved. Although he had not fully recovered, he was now able to engage in normal activities.
One day, Lin Tianyu arrived at Lin Yi's location. After a brief conversation, they decided to head to the factory that had been mentioned multiple times.
"Lin Yi, tell me about the situation at that factory," Lin Tianyu asked.
"Sure thing, boss," Lin Yi replied and began to detail what he had learned: "The factory is called Qingcheng Food Processing Plant. Before the apocalypse, it was the largest food processing enterprise in the area. Last time, we mistakenly thought it was abandoned and went to explore out of curiosity, only to find it filled with heavily armed people. We suffered losses during that confrontation, but later learned through various sources that the leader of this factory is none other than its original owner, Wu Cheng.
In the end, Wu Cheng used the vast food resources at his disposal to recruit many followers and frequently ventured out to loot and rob."
When Lin Tianyu and his group were still five kilometers away from the factory, they stopped the snowmobile and stored it in their space. The loud noise from the snowmobile could alert enemies, so they needed to proceed with caution.
"Lin Liu, Lin Jiu, you two go ahead and look for any abandoned buildings," Lin Tianyu ordered. "We need to find a safe place to devise our plan." The two immediately set off to scout ahead.
Due to the factory's remote location, there were hardly any tall buildings around, making it quite difficult to find a suitable spot. Thus, Lin Tianyu decided to send them first to investigate.
Before long, Lin Liu and Lin Jiu reported back that they had found a two-story small building. Following their designated route, Lin Tianyu quickly made his way there. Although the building was not large, it had been abandoned for many years.
Lin Tianyu took out a stove, coal, table, and other items from his space and lit a fire. After ten minutes of burning, the room finally began to warm up.
"It's freezing cold. Let's eat something first," Lin Tianyu said as he retrieved a copper hot pot and various ingredients he had prepared earlier from his space.
Instantly, an enticing aroma filled the room, making everyone's mouths water. Upon catching a whiff of the delicious scent, Lin Yi and the others' eyes lit up as they eagerly grabbed their chopsticks and began devouring their meal.
Lin Tianyu also took out two bottles from his space and poured each person a small cup.
Everyone raised their glasses and took a gentle sip, savoring the rich flavor. However, they didn't drink too much, as they were concerned about the effects of alcohol.
After finishing their meal, they gathered together to discuss their next action plan.
Lin Tianyu spoke seriously, "I plan to scout the area alone first. You all should hide about a kilometer away from the target location. Wait for my signal to attack, and then we will act together to eliminate the enemy."
Lin Yi and the others nodded in agreement, assuring him that they would follow his orders.
Lin Tianyu continued to emphasize, "Remember, you must listen to my commands and act on my signal. We need to coordinate our efforts to ensure we can wipe out the enemy in one go."
"Understood, boss!" Lin Yi and the others replied in unison.
