In this apocalyptic world, the rules that once governed society had long been discarded, reset entirely. In this brutal reality, survival was the foremost and only priority for everyone. There were no laws or moral constraints, only the law of the jungle where the strong preyed on the weak. Each person had to demonstrate their worth to survive in this desolate land.
Shen Weiwei looked at Lin Tianyu, her gaze firm as she told him, "We can be your personal doctors, responsible for taking care of your health. My medical skills are quite good; I can treat most ailments."
However, Lin Tianyu shook his head in dissatisfaction. He gazed deeply at Shen Weiwei before saying, "That's still far from enough."
Shen Weiwei felt a pang of confusion and pressed on, "Then what exactly do you want?"
After a moment of silence, Lin Tianyu slowly replied, "I want you."
These words sent a shock through Shen Weiwei's heart, but she maintained her composure, waiting for Lin Tianyu to continue. "Only if you are mine can I share resources with you and reveal my secrets; otherwise, you'll just leave."
"Alright, we agree," the two women said in unison. Their eyes sparkled with determination. They knew this was a decision they made together, a hope for their future. They would never return to how things were before!
Because that would mean loneliness, suffering, and endless waiting. Now, they had each other to accompany them through every step of life.
Lin Tianyu's lips curled into a gentle smile as he embraced the two sisters, feeling their warm bodies and soft skin against him.
The next morning, sunlight streamed through the curtains into the room as Lin Tianyu slowly opened his eyes. He stretched lazily and turned to look at the large bed beside him, only to find it empty.
He had brought the other two over in the middle of the night, but now there was no sign of them. Glancing at the clock, he saw it was only seven o'clock! Lin Tianyu furrowed his brow in confusion, wondering if they had gotten up so early. With that question in mind, he got dressed and walked out of the bedroom into the living room.
His sleep schedule had been so regular lately that Lin Tianyu felt his body had returned to its best state. If it had been before, given his habits, after such a tiring night, he would have slept until at least noon. But now, he was up early and full of energy.
As he entered the living room, he noticed that the dining table was already filled with a sumptuous breakfast, clearly prepared with care by them. Without hesitation, Lin Tianyu sat down at the table.
The table was laid out with various delicious foods: potstickers, soup dumplings, soy milk, and fried dough sticks—simple home-cooked breakfast items that now emitted an enticing aroma. Just then, the Four Maidens walked out of the kitchen and saw Lin Tianyu already seated. They smiled and said, "You’re finally awake! We were just about to come in and wake you up. Come try our breakfast; eating those space meals all the time must be getting boring."
Lin Tianyu quickly nodded in agreement, saying, "Yeah, I think so too."
With that, he began to devour the food eagerly, giving a thumbs-up in praise as he ate, which made the Four Maidens very happy.
