Before long, the door of Shen Weiwei's house was violently slammed open with a loud bang. Immediately, Liu Dahu burst into the room, followed by a group of fierce-looking men.
"Who are you? What do you want?" Shen Weiwei tightly protected her sister, staring at them in terror, her voice trembling slightly.
Liu Dahu's eyes gleamed with barely concealed greed as he took in the sight of the beautiful sisters. However, he quickly replaced his expression with a feigned smile and cheerfully said, "Dr. Shen, please don’t be nervous. The thing is, my brothers and I have sustained some injuries and would like to ask for your help in treating them."
Shen Weiwei exchanged a glance with her sister, both feeling a deep sense of despair. Faced with these dozens of ruthless individuals, refusing their request could lead to unimaginable consequences.
With no other choice, Shen Weiwei steeled herself and nodded in agreement.
"Come here; I'll take a look at your wounds," Shen Weiwei said cautiously, eyeing Liu Dahu.
When she saw the horrifying injuries on Liu Dahu's body, both Shen Weiwei and Shen Xiaoxiao couldn't help but gasp in shock.
Shen Xiaoxiao exclaimed in disbelief, "How are you still alive with such severe injuries?"
Left Ear Stud's expression darkened at her words. He raised his hand and slapped Shen Xiaoxiao on the head, knocking her down as he angrily scolded, "Are you cursing my brother to death?"
Seeing this, Shen Weiwei hurriedly rushed to help her sister up, anxiously explaining, "No, no! It's a misunderstanding. We will do our best to treat you; please don’t worry."
Left Ear Stud impatiently urged, "Hurry up and treat my brother!"
His greedy eyes were fixed on the sisters before him as he secretly plotted in his mind. Left Ear Stud and several of his underlings knew that once the sisters healed their brother's wounds, they would undoubtedly become his women. At that point, they too would have a chance to benefit from it—perhaps even get a share for themselves!
Thinking this way, their gazes toward Shen Weiwei and Shen Xiaoxiao grew increasingly intense.
"First, take care of the wounds and prepare for surgery right away!" Left Ear Stud ordered them.
The two girls dared not delay and quickly left the room to gather the necessary tools for the surgery next door.
Shen Weiwei first checked her sister's forehead injury before lowering her voice to say, "We need to find a way to escape from here as soon as possible!"
Shen Xiaoxiao's face showed despair. "But sister, how can we possibly escape? There are so many of them guarding this place."
"We must try to escape regardless! Once these people recover from their injuries, all that awaits us is death or something even worse," Shen Weiwei said firmly.
"What should we do then?" Shen Xiaoxiao asked anxiously.
"First, we can try to seek help from the neighbors in the community. They are not residents of our building; we can reach out through the building's group chat to see if anyone is willing to lend a hand," Shen Weiwei calmly analyzed.
Shen Xiaoxiao nodded in agreement and suggested creating a new group with people she knew to discuss countermeasures together.
As the sisters' plea for help was sent out, the atmosphere in the group instantly became lively.
"This is too much! How can they be like this?!" someone angrily condemned.
"Call the police, let the authorities handle it!" others proposed.
Some raised doubts: "Call the police? When have we ever called the police? Can you even get through?"
In an instant, the group was filled with various voices and emotions, all expressing outrage over the incident. Yet, no one could come up with an effective solution, and no one was willing to lend a helping hand.
