After sending the message, he smugly tossed his phone aside, a slight smirk on his lips as he muttered to himself, "Lin Tianyu, oh Lin Tianyu, let's see how you handle this!"
Especially as the residents recalled the delicious food photos Lin Tianyu had shared before, they couldn't help but salivate. They began tagging Lin Tianyu or messaging him privately, expressing their hope to get some food from him.
As for these requests, Su Yang completely ignored them. After all, some of these people had been among those who had caused him harm in his past life!
Kong Hao sent another provocative message:
"Hmph, you can't even provide a bit of food and still dare to act all high and mighty here?"
This remark ignited a fire of anger within Lin Tianyu. His eyes glinted with murderous intent as he stared at the screen and coldly replied, "If you're looking for death, don't blame me!"
Lin Tianyu then sent a message to the group:
"You don't need to look for me. No matter how much I have to eat, it's mine alone and has nothing to do with you! Go find Director Liu! The official supplies for the community are all with the Community Committee! I remember they provided a lot of rice and flour for the elderly in our community!"
These supplies should be stored at the Community Committee! There’s enough here for everyone in the neighborhood to eat for several days!
After sending the message, Lin Tianyu quietly waited for it to stir up reactions in the group. He knew that these supplies were usually withheld by Aunt Liu and her group, and the residents dared not voice any complaints. Now that everyone was facing hunger threats, who would still care about saving face for the Community Committee?
If Aunt Liu and her group didn’t bring these supplies out, there would definitely be no good food left!
Upon seeing Lin Tianyu's message, the entire community group erupted.
"Yeah, I remember there was a batch of rice and flour delivered before it snowed. Where did those things go?" someone questioned in confusion.
"Director Liu, I remember too! The officials did send a batch of community supplies! Hurry up and bring them out!"
"Yes, yes! At a time like this, you need to bring them out quickly! This is our collective property; how dare you hoard it all!"
"Are you all trying to keep everything for yourselves, Community Committee?"
Aunt Liu and Kong Hao felt a chill run down their spines as they read the group messages. They quickly jumped in to explain, "Don't listen to Lin Tianyu's nonsense; there's nothing going on!"
They urged everyone not to let him use them as scapegoats. No one paid attention to his explanations because some people had indeed seen the stash! Before the apocalypse, when the Community Committee hoarded supplies, no one cared; it was hardly worth anything. But now, those supplies were a matter of life and death!
The group erupted in outrage against the Community Committee.
"This is bad; no one is listening to us!" Kong Hao said anxiously. Everyone here was injured—either a leg or an arm—and if someone charged in, they wouldn't even be able to escape!
"What should we do? If this keeps up, we're finished!" Aunt Liu exclaimed, clearly worried.
"Should we just hand over the supplies?" someone suggested tentatively.
"Hand them over? We've consumed quite a bit during this time, and what's left isn't enough to satisfy them! If we give it away, we'll starve!"
Everyone in the Community Committee realized the truth of that statement. If they gave away their supplies, they would end up hungry.
