The Feng Family's private estate was bustling with activity today, with luxury cars arriving one after another. Among the guests were prominent figures from Southwest Province, as well as some underground leaders from other provinces and cities across Huaxia.
At this moment, Feng Laowu was busy welcoming guests in the estate, while Li Hai Feng sat quietly in a room. He was not one for noise and preferred to avoid the spotlight at the wedding.
"Central China Underground Leader Xiao Junyong has come to congratulate!" someone shouted at the entrance of the estate, just as a luxury car drove in.
Anyone who had the privilege to drive directly into the estate had a status that surpassed Feng Laowu’s. As Central China Underground Leader, Xiao Junyong certainly held that status.
Upon hearing that Xiao Junyong had arrived, Feng Laowu hurriedly walked over to greet him.
"Brother Xiao, I didn't expect you to actually come this time. I'm truly touched," Feng Laowu said excitedly as he embraced Xiao Junyong.
"Brother Feng, we've known each other for so many years. Your son is like my own; of course I had to be here for his wedding," Xiao Junyong replied, though he struggled to smile. After all, his own son had passed away just over a month ago. Seeing another man's son getting married only deepened his pain.
"Brother Xiao, how about this? Let Dong'er recognize you as her godfather," Feng Laowu suggested.
"That would be wonderful," Xiao Junyong agreed with a nod.
"By the way, Brother Xiao, I've heard about your son's incident. Who did it? If there's anything I can do to help, just let me know," Feng Laowu asked quietly. He had caught wind of the news regarding Xiao Junyong's son being killed over a month ago and couldn't help but inquire now that he was face-to-face with him.
Upon hearing Feng Laowu mention his son, Xiao Junyong's expression turned sorrowful and furious; his fists clenched involuntarily.
"The person responsible is a martial arts expert—someone we cannot provoke. It's best to let it go," Xiao Junyong said bitterly. Remembering Jiang Chen's extraordinary abilities from that day, he felt powerless and unwilling to seek revenge.
"What does it matter if he's just a martial arts expert? Brother Xiao, from now on you will be my son's godfather; your matters are my matters. I will avenge you," Feng Laowu declared boldly.
"Brother Feng, I can't do anything against that person myself; it's best if you let it go. Your good intentions are enough," Xiao Junyong replied dismissively. He paid little heed to Feng Laowu's words. As an underground leader of Southwest Province, Feng Laowu's overall strength was considerably less than his own; if he couldn't handle Jiang Chen, there was no way Feng Laowu could.
"Brother Xiao, today is different from before. I invited you to Southwest Province not only for my son's wedding but also for something more important. Later, I'll introduce you to someone who can avenge your son—no matter what kind of martial arts expert they are, they can easily take care of them," Feng Laowu said mysteriously.
"Stop keeping me in suspense; who is it?" Xiao Junyong asked in surprise, intrigued.
Feng Laowu looked around cautiously before leaning closer to whisper in Xiao Junyong's ear. "It's Li Hai Feng from the Corpse Refining Clan in the Ten Thousand Great Mountains. Clan Leader Li has recently refined a Flying Copper Armored Corpse—one such corpse possesses strength that can rival that of the Martial Arts Divine Realm. And Clan Leader Li has hundreds of these Flying Copper Armored Corpses at his disposal. This time he has come out of seclusion specifically to sweep through Huaxia Martial Arts and become our Huaxia Martial Arts Supreme."
"Is that true? It can't be! A corpse can rival the Martial Arts Divine Realm? You must know that among us in Huaxia, there are only a handful of Divine Realm experts—only those Ancestors from the Seven Great Martial Arts Families can reach such levels," Xiao Junyong exclaimed in shock, finding it hard to believe.
