As he spoke, the Qingyu Monk began to activate the Bowl atop Fu Long's head. Golden light scattered in all directions, and no matter how hard Fu Long struggled, he could not break free from the range enveloped by the golden glow.

As soon as he finished speaking, someone appeared out of thin air. "I don't deny it." Gan Yuan was there, but it was unclear how he had arrived; he certainly did not seem like someone who would just leave.
"Why not let Gu Brother give that Fu Long to him? If Jade Void Sect needs anything from you, Yue Ruo, just send word to Gu Brother. If there's anything I can help with at Gu Brother's place, I will definitely go through fire and water for you."
Anyone can make empty promises, but delivering on them is another matter entirely. It seemed that Gan Yuan was indeed looking to seek out a move against it. Gu Ping thought about this and immediately rejected Gan Yuan's proposal. He had no good impression of that self-important genius from Jade Void Sect. If Bu Luo were to mention the Light Canon, Gu Ping would be quite grateful to Gan Yuan; after all, if Gan Yuan's capabilities were truly lacking, he probably wouldn't have given Gu Ping so much time to find a solution. Gu Ping moved swiftly, dodging the Small Lightning Technique that whizzed overhead. With a kick, he summoned a mountain that descended from the sky, crashing down towards Gan Yuan. Hearing the roaring wind above him, Gan Yuan looked up and saw the massive mountain looming overhead. He quickly activated the Small Teleportation Technique to evade Gu Ping's attack.
The wind surged.
Gan Yuan lifted his legs, conjuring two Mini Tornadoes that howled towards Gu Ping. His sword at his waist was drawn in one fluid motion, aiming for Gu Ping's head.
A stone wall appeared to block him.
Gu Ping pushed forward with his legs, creating a massive stone wall that materialized out of thin air, shielding him from the two tornadoes. He tilted his head slightly to avoid Gan Yuan's sword strike.
To the spectators watching their duel, it was clear that neither of these combatants resembled typical Foundation Practitioners; their fighting prowess was extraordinary. The small Spells they cast were accompanied by concise incantations. If either of them were Foundation Practitioners, they likely wouldn't be able to withstand even a single blow from either side. Moreover, both were currently testing each other's limits; as the intensity of their battle escalated, it wouldn't be long before even Foundation Practitioners would find themselves unable to keep up.
However, as Gan Yuan drew his sword, everyone expected Gu Ping to engage aggressively in close combat. To their surprise, Gan Yuan was the one who reached Gu Ping first, swinging his sword with fierce intent as he launched an offensive against Gu Ping.
