In the Star Picking Auction, which had been held for five times, the rules remained unchanged for two months. With new participants entering the arena, Yan Dong took the time to explain everything once more.
Listening to the old man known as Elder Ge, Gu Ping finally understood why it was called the Star Picking Auction. During the auction, all items would be placed in different Soul Rings and wrapped in Talisman Packages, suspended under the starry sky above. The first person to grab an item would have the priority to purchase it. Even if one didn't want it, they could buy it at a low price and then trade it at a higher price with someone who needed it.

"What makes the academy so unique?" Gu Ping asked.
"I don't deny it," Minghong replied. "Since the academy maintains neutrality like Tianzhu Temple, why do those people want to take control of the academy first?"
"Because of the academy's unique position," Keke explained.
"Position?" Gu Ping thought for a moment and then recalled what Liu Lao Jiu mentioned about Yin Tianheng leveling Eastern Peak with a single strike. After all, among all the ancient cultivators in the World of Mortals, only Yin Tianheng could achieve such a feat.
To be honest, their suppression of the academy made Bu Luo fear that another person like Yin Tianheng might emerge. However, those thick-headed individuals failed to realize that true heroes reveal themselves in times of crisis. Even without a genius, such circumstances would force a genius to emerge.
