The Senior Sister anxiously awaited news from the Azure Bull east of the Broken Wall when she suddenly spotted a magnificent stag running towards Dong Lai. Unlike the graceful female deer, this Stag King clearly possessed a powerful physique and an impressive demeanor, resembling a leading commander charging into battle as it dashed into the dense forest.
Before the Senior Sister could react, a swarm of Demon Spirits burst forth from Spirit Home, scattering in all directions. Even the enemies, the Green Serpent and Black Tiger, did not engage in any conflict, seemingly oblivious to each other's presence as they fled into the distance.
What had happened? The Azure Bull and the other aged Demon Spirits in the east also heard a voice echoing in their hearts, urging them to help that human find his lost companion and bring back their prince. That human would not escape.
The voice of Pudu startled the Azure Bull as it gazed at the Broken Wall. It was unclear what had just transpired that earned that human Pudu's recognition. Now Pudu had issued a command, one that could not be denied. This meant that whatever had occurred had already alarmed the true masters of Spirit Home.
The Azure Bull had fought alongside Pudu before and understood what kind of Demon Spirit Pudu was; it never took charge of anything. More often than not, it acted like a messenger, relaying messages for those who controlled Spirit Home. When idle, it would wander alone near the Broken Wall, only showing excitement when faced with challengers.
Each Pudu would point out to challengers what they held most dear that they could not let go of. This could lead to greater blows for some like Coco or offer another chance for others like Keke. This was precisely why Pudu occupied its position as a gatekeeper, providing each challenger with what they needed most.
At that moment, the Azure Bull realized that the human who had just faced Pudu was destined to remain within Spirit Home and ascend Heavenly Ladder, leaving behind a vivid mark like Liu Dong's brushstroke.
"What happened to him?" the Senior Sister asked anxiously.
"He's fine now; he has gained Pudu's recognition," Azure Bull replied, shaking its head slightly, feeling somewhat breathless. It understood that Pudu was helping that young man not only because he had received its acknowledgment but also because Pudu was weakening him on a spiritual level. By assisting him in finding someone, he had achieved his goal and lost his reason to climb Heavenly Ladder. Without motivation, his combat power would inevitably decline; perhaps even Gu Ping wouldn't be able to defeat Shattered Seal Spirit at this moment.
Not witnessing any slaughter made the Senior Sister joke happily. She knew that Pudu had transcended beyond being an ordinary Demon Spirit; any slaughter would likely involve Mahayana Stage experts.
No living being had witnessed such carnage; all challengers faced two types of Demon Spirits: those seeking life and those seeking death.
Seeing the Azure Bull's focused gaze, the Senior Sister sobered up. However, she couldn't deny her happiness for Gu Ping. Moreover, Gu Ping had broken through to Golden Core Stage! Soon, a junior brother was brought over, and the senior sister recognized him at a glance. It was Zheng Bin, the one riding on the back of a zebra.

"He’s here! Ah!"
Wen Tian Ren, true to his name, had been thrown by the Golden-Winged Great Roc from Tian Zai and landed hard on the ground, faring worse than Lou.
Next came Zhang Qian, Chu Hantian, and Qin Jun, all sent over in quick succession. The only ones missing were Feng Xiao and Shi Li; it seemed Xiazhi hadn’t arrived either.
Initially, Shi Li was the first to rush over, tears streaming down her face as she delivered a heavy blow to everyone’s spirits. Feng Xiao had failed to save her as she fell into the abyss, her fate unknown.
The joy that had filled the air was completely shattered by this harsh reality. The senior sister turned to look at Broken Wall and deeply bowed in gratitude for Yi Dong's help against the Demon Spirit. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes, fighting back tears.
All of this felt like her fault—misguided orders and ignorance of the situation outside the forest had recklessly led everyone into danger. Now they were scattered, and she feared that her efforts might have resulted in them becoming prey for demon beasts. Yet she couldn’t shake off the feeling of guilt.
They had promised to return together. How could she face her fellow disciples at the academy? How could she bear the weight of being their senior sister? She felt utterly weak for the first time. If only she possessed Gu Ping's calmness; perhaps things would have turned out differently.
Just as Gu Ping was thinking, he had already arrived at Dong Lai from the Heavenly Ladder. Seeing everyone there, he felt a surge of joy and greeted them with enthusiasm, embracing each person in turn. Initially, he noticed Yoyo standing to the side, staring wide-eyed at him. Gu Ping broke into a grin and laughed, pulling the smaller Yoyo into his arms once more.
"Junior Brother," the Senior Sister called out to Gu Ping.
