Having defeated Extermination, Gu Ping chose not to continue climbing. She knew that she had truly reached her limit. The fierce battles began as soon as she entered the Flowing Cloud Realm, and she had been fighting against opponents who were always stronger than herself. Winning those battles had drained her spirit immensely.
Gu Ping felt a bit tired and longed for Yoyo's presence, wishing she could comfortably lie down beside Yoyo and enjoy a good sleep. However, there wasn't even a cave nearby, let alone a bed; she only had the small courtyard she had brought from the academy.
Ignoring the overly respectful Demon Spirits around her, she casually found a patch of open ground and set up her courtyard. She drove away any intruders and lay down to rest comfortably.
After those two battles, no Demon Spirit dared to disturb Gu Ping anymore. They all understood that their kind could never match that human's strength. Even if they banded together, it would likely be futile; they had already tried that before, resulting in over a dozen corpses left behind. They didn’t want to seek out trouble again.
Seeing that Gu Ping had no intention of making things difficult for them, the Demon Spirits returned to their own territories. The layer of Broken Wall was no longer as vast as the previous ones. Although there were many infant Demon Spirits around, they paled in comparison to the countless lower-tier Demon Spirits in the eastern region.
Gu Ping thought that the further one went into the Broken Wall, the smaller the area would become. Soon, she fell into a deep sleep. In her dreams, Gu Ping rode on a pure red Pure World Fox, galloping freely across the vast expanse without anyone hindering her.
In her dream, she found Mu Yu, and together they lived happily. They even ascended to the heavenly realm, becoming a pair of envied celestial lovers.
But was it just a dream?
Gu Ping knew it was merely a dream, yet no matter what, she was unwilling to wake up. Even if it was just a carefree existence within that dream, she preferred it over reality.
As dawn broke, the eldest sister of the Broken Wall slept on Yoyo's back. After receiving news of Gu Ping's victory yesterday, she too was exhausted and chose to rest. Tomorrow, she hoped to find her junior brothers and sisters and believed that Gu Ping could gather some Demon Spirits for help. It didn’t seem too difficult now that they had the Spirit Tribe; she believed they would find everyone soon.

Coco felt a bit tired and wanted to sleep. After speaking, Azure Bull let out a heavy mooing sound.
It was time to sleep, and the Senior Sister thought for a moment, feeling that it wasn't too wrong. Gu Ping could not deny it. A person who loved to sleep might consider that in just two short days, Gu Ping had experienced so many battles that he must have been exhausted both physically and mentally. How strong is Pudu? The mere mention of Transcendence says it all. He was a true powerhouse at the top of the food chain, capable of crushing any being except for Mahayana Practitioners.
Gu Ping was strong enough to defeat Extermination by crossing two major levels. He was certainly not an invincible being among his generation. However, Pudu... those old monsters in the Transcendence Period rarely came out to act and would not easily engage with cultivators whose levels were significantly lower than theirs. They also wouldn't use sneak attacks.
Yet this time, Pudu had made a move without anyone noticing when or where he had appeared or what he looked like. But Azure Bull could clearly feel that the power surrounding the entire courtyard did not belong to Gu Ping.
"Yoyo! Yoyo!"
The Senior Sister called out anxiously twice but found that Yoyo seemed to be asleep as well. No matter how much she shouted, Yoyo wouldn’t wake up. What should she do? Just when hope seemed within reach, everything turned into despair.
I must hold on, thought the Master Sister, closing her eyes and silently praying for Gu Ping, hoping for another miracle to occur.
The Azure Bull did not say another word. Every time it felt that the human from Broken Wall was at the end of their strength, that human would rise again to fight, becoming stronger each time. This made the Azure Bull believe that there was nothing that human could not accomplish. In just one day, the Azure Bull had witnessed miracles that it had never seen in its entire life, unfolding one after another right before its eyes. At that moment, the Azure Bull truly felt that perhaps that human could create miracles simply by being alive. Bu Luo and the Azure Bull were uncertain; was Gu Ping's existence itself a miracle?
